Corner Cwtch, a property with a garden, is set in Llanstephan, 49 km from WWT Llanelli, 4.7 km from Llansteffan Castle, as well as 24 km from Kidwelly Castle.

The cwtch was a perfect location for me to visit my family who live close by and to visit places, eg Oakwood theme park and Tenby. The pool that was on-site was lovely and clean with a friendly lifeguard. The facilities were excellent at the property, everything we needed and the milk, bread, biscuits and welsh cakes that were there were an added bonus. We cannot wait to return next year!

Ty gwyn farm caravan, a property with a terrace, is set in Burry Port, 47 km from Rhossili Bay, 17 km from WWT Llanelli, as well as 30 km from Cathedral Church of St Joseph.

The accommodation is a static caravan on a working farm. So, if your expecting a Mediterranean type vista with views of pelicans diving into the crystal clear waters then think again! What you have here is what you should be expecting; a working farm with the sounds of the animals all around. Farm life happening as you sit on the deck, the cuck-a-doodle-do as the sun begins to light the skies, & horses playing in the fields around you. The caravan is not brand new, but all of the appliances worked & we had a lovely nights sleep when we stayed. With Oembrey beach a stones throw away it was perfect for us to travel down to the beach in the car.

It's a lovely looking Hotel tucked out of the way.

It's a lovely looking Hotel tucked out of the way. The room was large with a four-poster bed and a great view. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was good. There is plenty of room for meals and two Bars. The Gym and swimming pool with sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi are available. There is a Village Pub and Shop up the road.

A random booking in an unknown part of Carmarthenshire, but a joy to discover...i wrote to friends - the Spot that Time Forgot. Ferryyside is a ribbon development area along the banks of the estuary...so glorious views - see from our room. Local shop is a Steptoe mix of treasures an essentials. Possible walks for all grades, chatty helpful locals and Carmarthen or Llanelli by train IF you need everyday life!!! IF you venture to swim in the sea - beware to enormous jellyfish...many to be seen strewn along the shoreline after high tide!!!

This is a good base for exploring this part of the world, but don't expect fast roads, Excellent dog-walking available as the estuary beach is very close (not wheelchair accessible). Fast train service available into Carmarthen. During the pandemic restrictions, don't expect un-reserved pub lunches. We loved nearby Burry Port, a good daytime restaurant at tiny Pembrey Airport. Enjoy.

We stayed in rooms 27 and 28 for two nights in July 2022, while walking the Wales Coast Path. The hotel is ideally placed for Coast Path walkers. My room was at the back with no view, no problem with that. Nice views from front of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't use the swimming pool, too tired after a long hot day walking, but it looked nice. Breakfast was very good, and evening meals and drinks were good value. Happy to recommend to Wales Coast Path walkers.

Our room was huge compared to many other hotels in which we have stayed and all worked well. We were a little disappointed with the food. It didn't really match up to what was written on the hotel web site. Apart from that were the chunky chips which were excellent! Plenty of easy parking but might have been because it was October and not many caravan owners were visiting.

The staff were very friendly. There was a pool available that looked lovely but we didn’t have time to use it. The hotel is very dog friendly which is important to us. In fact Jackie even offered to look after our little dog whilst we had a dip in the pool (time was just against us) The evening meal had a great selection and was delicious. Breakfast too. Lots of choice.
