Very accessible, friendly and absolutely stunning location and views! Most holidays I have to ask for extra/move furniture but this holiday was perfect for us as everything was thought about and provided for. Brilliant holiday, thank you, we will definitely return!

The first day was wonderful, perfect location, clean room, nice staff and delicious food.
On the second day it was like we were in a different place. We waited for food for over an hour and no one even apologised or told us how long to wait. It was very noisy, there was a party on the ground floor and we could hardly sleep. Went down for breakfast in the morning and there was no one but us in the hotel. After an hour of searching for staff, we decided to go elsewhere for food. The keys to the room also had no one to leave them with, so we had to hide them ourselves and write a message to the owner that we had left and where the keys were. All in all, it felt weird. Beautiful place, but the second day spoilt the whole experience.

We stayed in the Llechwedd Glamping tents as we wasn’t able to stay at the hotel.
We were very happy with our accommodation, it felt like we were staying in a cabin as opposed to a tent!
It was clean, warm and very comfortable.
The beds were lovely, the shower was fab and we had a fully equipped kitchenette where we cooked some lovely meals.
As there’s no TV, we played board games and cards which was great as these days too much family time can be spent on phones or television/films. We had breakfast on our own terrace and walked our dogs on the Quarry paths early in the morning.
Watching the zip lines across the quarry was fun too!
We had our own log fire which was a lovely treat of an evening whilst playing chess.
Highly recommended.

There is plenty of activities you should try and I will advise everybody to take food with you because it’s very difficult to find a nice food so it’s better to cook your own food price why it outside it’s not bad but not good food

It was a perfect rural retreat.
It was a perfect rural retreat. We had a car and we’re able to visit many places of interest in under an hour. The weather was awful but we expected that as we stayed at the end of December and start of New Year and part of our hope for the mini-break was to snuggle up and stay cozy for a peaceful get away after the stress of Christmas. Additionally, as enthusiasts of narrow gauge railways we were able to drive a little way to visit a couple of different Raikways and Castles too. This stay was exactly what we hoped and we would happily have stayed longer, life permitting! We will consider returning for another break.

Fabulous area with lots to do. We were given tips about places to wild swim and walk. We were there as we were goi g to Portmerion but will defiantly return to explore. A bonus for the future was finding out about local yoga teacher who hosts retreats

Loved the people and the village/location.
Loved the people and the village/location.
The room however was extremely basic, but clean. Staff were very helpful. A very lovely project for the local people who understandably wish to preserve their local establishment and they support it extremely well.

We chose to stay here as we were visiting Zip World Caverns and the location was perfect. Less than 10 minutes drive took us to two very nice pub restaurants - we managed to book into 'The Grapes' which was amazing!

The hotel staff were fantastic, super friendly and attentive. It's Community ran and we think they're doing a great job with a very old and dated building. There was plenty of top ups for tea and coffee in the room, and the whole hotel was spotless. There were stunning views from the beer garden!
The staff was kind and helpfull, we had a nice view from the window and a spacious room. The hotel's location is not bad either, there is a little shop about 100m from the hotel where you can buy basic gorcery, domestic detergents, etc.
Views superb staff very helpful and very friendly you could tell they all enjoyed working there .
Parking at the hotel v good and they had a lift which was great
