It was a perfect rural retreat.
It was a perfect rural retreat. We had a car and we’re able to visit many places of interest in under an hour. The weather was awful but we expected that as we stayed at the end of December and start of New Year and part of our hope for the mini-break was to snuggle up and stay cozy for a peaceful get away after the stress of Christmas. Additionally, as enthusiasts of narrow gauge railways we were able to drive a little way to visit a couple of different Raikways and Castles too. Fabulous area with lots to do.
Fabulous area with lots to do. We were given tips about places to wild swim and walk. We were there as we were goi g to Portmerion but will defiantly return to explore. Loved the people and the village/location. The room however was extremely basic, but clean. Staff were very helpful.
