We booked this as a last minute get away and it completely exceeded our expectations! It's such a beautiful location and the rooms are decorated so nicely. The beds are super comfy as well.
The location is amazing and you can hop on the ferry to go straight over to Fowey.
There are brilliant coastal walks right on the doorstep as well.
Dog friendly which was perfect for our little dog.
The staff were absolutely amazing, they were friendly and so hopefully! It has a family run feel to it, in the best kind of way.
The only bit that may be extra tricky in the holidays is the parking, it is restricted and on quite a big hill, it was fine for us but if you have any mobility issues it may not be the easiest to walk up and park.
There were some building works going on which looks like it will make it even more beautiful for the summer, we weren't disturbed by the work when we were there
There is also such a wonderful communal area for you to sit and have a drink if you wanted.
Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved the hotel. Such a gorgeous building and staff all brilliant. My room was massive and so comfortable. My only minor gripe is the cost of food and drink in the hotel.

We loved Fowey - a very pretty village with upscale cafes, shops and eateries. It is not a big place but on a holiday weekend it was busy, but not so crowded that it spoiled the fun. Gorgeous views. We were there for hiking on the coast, not sitting on a beach. Be prepared to park in the main car park up the hill from the centre of the village and, if necessary, use the handy and frequent local shuttle bus to get down to and up from the centre. Will definitely go back there.

Lovely town. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. Recommend Sam's on Fore Street. (book to make sure of a table in the evening). Brown Sugar cafe for tea/coffee/cake. Nile's Bakery for homemade Cornish pasties etc. Good choice of shops.

An attractive place, but a very steep hill to walk down from main car park. Not ideal for people with limited mobility. There is a small car park in the bottom of the town, but don't assume there will be spaces. There is a town bus which will take you down and back up, but check its operating hours.

Fowey is the quintessential Cornish coastal town - as a result it does get very busy 'in season'. You do need to be able to walk up and down steep roads, paths and steps but will be richly rewarded if you explore. There are plenty of places to eat at a range of prices. Our favourite is 'Sam's' - a bustling bistro with seafood galore - book! There are lots of trendy art and clothes shops in which to browse or walks around the surrounding coast.

I would recommend not staying in the middle of town, there is a tiny road and no parking except on the fridge. Foweys Landing was on the fringe with a parking area out the front, perfect. yet a short walk to town. The Ship Inn Pub was great good pub food and good atmsosphere.

Fowey is a great little town with a number of places to eat, drink and shop. The hills are not for the faint hearted but will get you fit! It is very near to the Eden Project and The Gardens of Heligan - both worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful cottage bang in the middle of Fowey. The cottage is clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, bright and airy and an absolute joy to stay in. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The added extra surprise is the outdoor decked area with amazing view over the harbour where you can sit and catch the rays with sun downers after a days exploring the lovely Fowey. I would'nt hesitate to stay here again and we are already looking when to stay here again. I can't wait to return xxx
The continental breakfast was excellent and we loved sitting on the balcony in the sunshine to eat it. We were very grateful to be allocated a parking space at the hotel. We were weary when we arrived and it gave us both a lift to have the added convenience of parking on-site. The staff were all helpful and delightful. The old-fashioned lift was fun. Our room was very comfortable and the linens were lovely. The hotel was a perfect base for exploring the town and local area.
The bedroom was amazing! We had a king size room harbour view!
Breakfast was delicious!
Staff was really kind!
Will come back there again!
