Loved the building, the room, the people, the grounds, the area of Scotland!

The hotel is in a lovely location, but it was not as comfortable and welcoming as we had hoped after a long journey. We tried to have dinner, but were treated unkindly when we didn’t order wine or meat. We heard unkind remarks from the staff and left before our dinner was over. We chose not to eat breakfast there the next morning. It felt very much like they are pushed to upsell. We did not feel welcome. Check in staff were nice. Bed and room were ok. Would not stay here again.
This hotel has a stunning setting in the shadow of the Pap of Glencoe and surrounded by the beautiful Ardgour Hills. It offers rooms with homemade cookies, free Wi-Fi and free parking.

The view is absolutely incredible. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking. There was a bathroom for every bedroom and plenty of hot water for all.

I loved passing through Glencoe for sightseeing from the car, catching a sunset on an evening hike. The parking in Glencoe is very limited so makes it annoying, but it is beautiful I would only pass through...

Glencoe has a very small downtown, but the real draw is the beautiful country side surrounding it which is absolutely stunning. We would recommend a visit to the Glencoe visitor center which has a nice cafe, shop and a movie room which is worth attending (20 minute video on Glencoe and its fascinating history) - a great primer for your subsequent explorations of the beautiful countryside.

Glencoe is outstanding to visit. Many walks, many views.
Glencoe is outstanding to visit. Many walks, many views. We spent £17.50 each on the chairlift up the Glencoe mountain. All other walks, views, attractions we attended were free. I was fascinated by the history. The Glencoe massacre. Water, mountains, woodlands.
There is nothing to not like.
We went to Steall Waterfall, Three Sisters, Glencoe mountain resort, visitor centre, Glencoe monument and stopped at numerous viewpoints everywhere.

We spent 2 days in Glen Coe, in the heart of the mountains, outside of Fort William. Arriving from the south we had a fabulous drive through the height of the mountains, and enjoyed the Glen Coe visitor center for their historical displays, gift shop and recommendations re local hiking trails, and places to eat.
We appreciated that this is a very undeveloped, yet stunningly beautiful area with just the right amount of places to see and enjoy for a 2 day stay if you like an leisurely experience re all that an area has to offer.
Just beyond the area, be sure to take the Gondola ride to the top of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain. There is a good cafe at the top to take in the views, see mountain bikers ride the trails and take a walk on nearby paths.

After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi...
After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi, we settled into what is a luxurious studio, with great thought given to its design and decoration. The bathroom was amazing with an enormous rolltop bath as well as a very efficient shower. It was a cosy spot for the two of us and well equipped for a couple.
It only rained occasionally, so we were able to enjoy the glorious view over a coffee outside on the terrace.
We felt spoiled with the choice of possible hot drinks and chocolates placed around (there’s a nespresso machine and cafetière).
The studio was spotlessly clean.
We eat in at nights with the help of the microwave (there are rings to cook on too) only because I was too tired ! But we followed up our hosts’ recommendation of The View at Stalker Castle for a very nice coffee, soup and salad in a great spot down the coast a bit. Really though, loads of places to eat about, including the hotels 20-30 mins walk away via the cycle track. Another reason to return!

We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands.
We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands. As non-climbers, 24 hours was perfect to stop by the visitor centre and take in the views. The vistas are truly stunning and the national trust visitor centre is terrific - we had a lovely coffee there. It’s the most touristy place we visited on our trip, so I was glad our visit was relatively brief—but it really is a must see.

Our stay at the hotel could not have been better. very helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable room with beautiful view over Loch Leven. Most enjoyable dinner in the evening with comfortable bar area for after dinner drink and coffee. The pool was adequate and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed using this facility.
loved the location and the scenery views where unreal, the kids loved every bit of it & the adults exploring the hotel facilities aswelll using the pool as well as the beach house hot tub - staff where absolutely wonderful going out there way to look after us all, my 2nd stay here and look forward to plenty more!
Absolutely exceptional property in Glencoe. This accommodation was the highlight of our stay in Scotland. It was so clean, organised and a beautiful welcome bowl of delicious fruit awaited our arrival. We didn’t want to leave!
the hotel is classic. the room is very clean and well-organized. The thing I like the most is the dinner at Fish Restaurant (in hotel). I ordered Tiger Prawn with salad+dessert+apple juice, everything is delicious.
Very cute hotel with an outdoor terasse overlooking the river and montains. Nice room and very friendly staff. The food was realy good both breakfast & dinner.
