Overlooking Gorey Harbour, Seascale Hotel & Restaurant offers well-appointed rooms beneath Jersey’s Mont Orgueil Castle.

I've stayed here before, which is why I was pleased to come back. Seascale is a small and wonderful hotel. The rooms are comfy and clean, the breakfast is hearty and tasty and the staff are friendly and helpful. And to cap it all it's all very good value.
Set in Gorey, less than 1 km from Anne Port Beach, Jersey Accommodation and Activity Centre offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge.

The property did not meet our expectations initially and the descripton on booking did not match what we found. however, staff and the manager were outstanding and did everything they could to make us feel supported and welcome, including moving us to a different room.
Overall we liked the location which is not in the main city in Jersey

Clean and tidy, lovely staff and beautiful breakfast. Will definitely return.
Beachcombers Hotel is a boutique hotel next to the Royal Jersey Golf Course and Bay of Grouville, and a few minutes' walk from the beach. There is a bus stop directly outside the property.
Marina Metro Hotel is superbly situated on the seafront, overlooking the bay at Havre des Pas, one of St Helier's lovely beach areas with safe bathing either from the beach or in the open-air bathing...
Situated on the edge of St Helier, The Monterey Hotel has 2 swimming pools, including a luxury indoor pool with a steam room, spa bath, and a mini gym.
In the North of St Helier, Norfolk Lodge has an indoor swimming pool and plenty of free parking. St. Helier's town centre, shops and beaches, are a 10-minute walk away.

On the east side of Jersey Gorey is very picturesque with great views of the castle and harbour. There are shops a short walk away in the village and a fish n chip shop. Pizza Quarter in Gorey is a particularly good place to eat. We did walk from St Helier but the buses are regular and convenient and not expensive, especially if you get a day pass. We particularly enjoyed : the Zoo, Elizabeth Castle, Corbiere lighthouse, the War Tunnels and the Jersey Museum was a good place to start. St Brelade's Bay has to be one of the most beautiful beaches in existence. If it rains there is also a cinema in St Helier. We didn't visit Mont Orgueil Castle in Gorey this time but it looks very good for younger children.

Great location. Excellent footpaths for walking.
Great location. Excellent footpaths for walking.
Mint Irgueil castle only minutes away by walking. Few hotel bars and restaurants.
Frequent, regular and reliable bus service to St.Helier about half an hour in duration. Good idea to buy a bus ticket pass that covers one for duration of stay as you can use any liberty bus(island’s public bus service) to go anywhere in the island from St.Helier.

Restricted parking but a large free car park is available a short walk from the hotel.
Lovely walks around the harbour and seafront promenade.
A mediaeval castle is on the hillside for exploring.
There are many different bus routes to various destinations on the island that operate out of Gorey Pier.

Gorey is a good location for exploring as there is a good bus service- the castle is great and would definitely recommend a visit.
Good selection of bars and restaurants and others tucked away such as The Ranch and Crab Shack!
It’s a lovely walk around the port and beach.

Gorey is a peaceful haven in Jersey - a good mix of friendly locals and tourists. It has a relaxed ambiance and good sailing vibes. Recommend the excellent food at The Moorings (the chef is second to none!) and the local band at the Dolphin on Fridays and Saturdays is worth the trip!

Room was good with views over the harbour.
Dinner (we ate in the hotel on 2 occasions) also very good.
Breakfast was OK but on occasions when I asked for scrambled egg, it was more like an omelette in texture and taste.
The hotel was ideally situated for buses to all parts of the island.
The staff was extremely nice and the hôtel well located! we were pleased to see that few shops were opened on sunday in the harbour. If you are looking for a pitoresque experience with all commodities around, you will be pleased. PS: the breakfast is exceptional
The breakfast was great and silver service too. I haven't had that in 20 years and staying hotels 70 nights a year. Full 3 courses coffee, juice, cereals, fullenglish and toast etc. Crisp linen the lot
Location very near to gorey castle ,but bit away from transport route, can be a bit of a walk if don't have a car.
Nice property ,really well mentained.
