Room was great although as we were in the attic the ceiling was a little low. No separate shower cubicle and no shower screen which was the only downside. Otherwise excellent facilities!

A last minute booking delivered me to this comfy hotel outside Crickhowell just off the main road. The staff, bar, gym, spacious room and well considered restaurant menu were all great. There are also pleasant gardens and a swimming pool.

Two great things with our room - the lighting over the bed was bright so I could read easily - it's usually dingy. And there was not just a shower but a bath with plenty of really hot water - fantastic after a 14 mile walk! Location was excellent for the walks we were doing. Easy parking. It was very quiet- tho we were not there at a weekend.

The property was really well located close to walking in the surrounding hills and close to town to walk in for the market, dinner in a great pub and to get to the train station. It was really quiet for sleeping as well. Sarah is a lovely host and helpful with Abergavenny sites.
