The setting is beautiful, and the staff at the main reception and restaurant were very polite . The lounge had some lovely views and the beds were very comfortable, the room and bathroom were larger than expected - we choose the budget option twin room and expected a shoebox sized place, yet the room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was a very travel-able distance to the Burghley Horse Trials, which is what we came there for.

Loved the rural location and village. Some nice room touches, like robes + good selection of teas, and fresh milk. The bed was super comfortable and the power shower very efficient. Lorraine, the owner, is friendly and helpful. General ambience in bar and dining areas is very good; the food and service excellent. After feeling some uncertainty on arrival we left with every intention of returning.

It was worth visiting the church and is definitely a must if you are in the area.
Staff in the shops and cafes were very pleasant and helpful. A small retail park is easy to access by walking, eg Next , Matalan, TK Max. Local shops were not always open. The museum, school and art centre were also closed. They only seemed to be open on some days.

Grantham is a lovely, relaxed town, with lots of green space and plenty to do, culturally. The weekend market is first class, and there are tonnes of varied, boutique shops to supplement the more contemporary outlets.

The only thing good about Grantham was the Belton Woods Hotel. It’s a good place to base yourself for a while as it has good links to the A1, Lincoln and Nottingham. There is nothing good to say about Grantham itself, the town centre is absolutely dire which is a shame for anyone unfortunate enough to live there.

Grantham is not really a tourist destination, most people staying would have a specific reason for visiting. Having said that it has some decent places to eat and some good public houses. the pople are very friendly and it is a fairly safe town.

What wasn't there to like?! I enjoyed my stay, and even after an incident on the A1, they were happy for me and my partner to stay an extra night whilst we recovered from our collision with a lorry before we could then travel homeward.
The staff were so friendly and lovely to us, offered to drive us for food and offered us some dinner. The breakfast was lovely on all 3 days, and the stay in the hotel was impeccable. I couldn't fault anything or anyone at this little B&B.
This was a comfortable large room with a double bed at the top of the building. There was a sink in the room and a shared bathroom with a shower and a toilet and a separate toilet. It was quiet and airy and very conveniently situated in the middle of Grantham. There is a car park at the rear of the Hotel. This is a value for money hotel with a strong emphasis on security. A real find and I shall return. There is a bar at the ground floor level.
It’s cheapest upon my search online in Grantham. Comfy bed I like the duvet, pillows and mattress topper. Want the same for my bed.
The rest is basic needs. Will come to stay and update review as it was a short stay only to sleep there then head out in the morning.
Amazing hotel, lovely room with a nice view of the church and hotel court yard. It was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed.
There was some cosy seating areas with a great cocktail with great service.
Highly recommended if you're visiting Grantham!
