Noise from traffic but can’t really be helped and missed having a fridge in the room to keep water cool - other than that lovely - food excellent and staff lovely 😁.

Super friendly. Really nice pub, food looked good although we never got to have an evening meal being a last minute late booking.... Breakfast was spot on.
A lovely home from home in a quiet peaceful location.
A lovely home from home in a quiet peaceful location. We were keen to explore Edinburgh but not keen on being in the city 24/7. Edinburgh was easily accessible by bus or train.
Gullane gave us a welcome break from sightseeing and the crowds in the city whilst offering lovely coastal walks.
For golf enthusiasts it is ideal

Excellent location for touring the area and for golfing.
Friendly residents and good amenities. Good selection of eating establishments -- not disappointed with any. Aberlady, North Berwick- parking is a problem unless your are an early riser, Dunbar, Dirleton all worth a visit with good cafes etc.

3rd stay in Gullane love the location beach is amazing, plenty shops to stock up if self catering. Chip shop is amazing and had meal at Bonnie Badger can’t recommend enough, Grace of India in Aberlady didn’t disappoint with our curry night, you get what you pay for with them all not the cheapest but definitely the best we’ve had. Close to plenty of places to visit, Archerfield Walled Garden well worth the walk or drive, our first time. Gullane is close to small railway stations for ease of visiting Edinburgh and North Berwick, buses also on high street. Golfers paradise but we don’t golf but still perfect either way. So plenty walks, great food, doorstep shops and cafes, public transport if needed whats not to like

Beautiful quiet location. A 5 minute walk to picturesque Gullane Bay. Staff were all extremely welcoming. We ate both in the restaurant and the bar and would thoroughly recommend both. Loved the little extra touches - sea buckthorn tea, cookies and lavender pillow spray at night, and the water and brownies for our journey home. Our first visit, we are already planning our return!
Went to see the AIG Womens Open. Location of the Hotel amazing as it overlooked the Open Golf Village and the ninth green. I cannot say thank you enough to the managers and staff who all worked so hard to make our stay so memorable and extra special.
Great location for golf, pubs and some stunning landscapes. People were friendly and the food was good (incl. breakfast). We had a four legged friend in tow and the staff couldn't have done more to accommodate that. Fantastic hotel.
Gullane is fab, cottage well equipped, new, clean comfortable, well soundproofed from above and the side. Superfry great fish and chips. Beach wonderful. Easy to get to Edinburgh and N Berwick. Managed to park easy enough.
