Hawick has a lot to offer. Home of Cashmere and tweed there is also a distillery and award winning park. Plenty of places to eat that are highly rated. Hawick is a lovely town.
Hawick is a lovely town. Interesting architecture - old mills, buildings etc. 1880s onwards. Have a town trail. Lots of places to eat & drink. Lovely park. People friendly. Hawick is my home town, though I had been away for many years. It's a wonderful Scottish Borders town. The pubs are great and the places to eat in town are plentiful and good. A wonderful town with so much history and things and places to see. Hawick is very hilly but okay to get around if you take your time as I did. This apartment is all luxury. It was such a pleasure to stay in. Very comfortable beds, ours even with a pop up TV in it. All the appliances were new and amazing. It is spacious, spotless and has all of the utensils/white goods you could need except for a freezer drawer in the fridge. Hawick is well serviced with supermarkets, there are plenty of local landmarks and walking routes and the Heart of Hawick apartment is a great base from which to explore the historic Scottish borders.
