Overlooking the River Bure, this black-and-white timbered lodge offers a cozy pub with seasonally inspired food. The Southern Comfort paddle boat is moored just outside the property.

I liked how spacious the room was and the bed was very comfy. The food in the restaurant during the morning and evening was delicious! Can't wait to stay here again!

The Harnser in Stalham provides accommodations with a garden and a bar. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge.

A traditional pub, run by a friendly landlady and her team. The accommodation was in a separate courtyard adjacent to the pub and was clean, warm and quiet with everything I needed for my overnight stay. My meal in the pub that evening was perfectly cooked and well presented. I could not fault any aspect of my stay.

Violet Cottage offers accommodations in Catfield, 7.4 miles from BeWILDerwood and 10 miles from Caister Castle & Motor Museum.

Location was great, local pub serviced absolutely fantastic food. Beds were comfortable and living room was spacious for 3 guests. Layout of the sofas wasn't great as they both faced the TV so hard when trying to sit together and engage in conversation. Off road parking was beneficial however the large tree made it difficult to get into the space straight away. Locals were friendly and everything we needed (supermarkets, activities and larger towns) were only a short drive.

Dairy barns was a lucky find for us. We stayed 2 nights. Could not fault the room, breakfast or staff. WiFi and signal is limited due to the area. Would definitely stay again and recommend to our friend's and family. My little boy enjoyed seeing the horses. We had a lovely trip to sea palling beach. A visit to poppylands 1940's cafe is a must! We ventured further out to wroxham and potter heigham. A great weekend. 👍

Hickling is fairly close to the beaches where you can walk...

Hickling is fairly close to the beaches where you can walk or see the seals at specific times. The countryside is beautiful (August) and the location is close to other nice little villages like Happisburgh which has a nice pub and a walk down to the beach but you do need a car. Our favourite place was the Old Vicarage gardens, 15 mins away, which were truly spectacular and would recommend if you love gardens and flowers. Opens at 12noon and has a cafe. We ate out during the day but went to the Greyhound in Hickling one night which was awful. wouldn't recommend unless you like oven chips and microwaved food. Blakeney and Cley were also beautiful if you are willing to travel a bit.

We only stayed in Hickling for one night but driving through it was a delightful little village with a lot of countryside. Our B & B was remote and it was most peaceful, that's the overall impression we got of Hickling

Hickling is a quiet village close to the beautiful coastline and the Norfolk Broads. It has a fantastic pub The Greyhound and is also close to the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. There are no other amenities but Stalham and Potter Heighham are a short drive away

As nature lovers we enjoyed NWT Hickling, especially the boat trip; we also visited Horsey Wind Pump and would highly recommend Ross's boat trip (best to book) and the seals at Horsey Gap. We also enjoyed trips to nearby How Hill, Ranworth Broad and village (especially the church), Hoveton Hall, Blickling and East Ruston Garden.

    Venue did everything we wanted.

Venue did everything we wanted. Plenty to see and do within 1 hour drive. Highly recommend the Greyhound pub (5 min drive), Poppies tea room, 10 min drive 1940's theme well worth a visit. Cromer's a place to visit, bank holidays I think one to avoid, lack of available parking and really crowded.
