The room was clean, although there was a strange smell when I went in but that could have been from outside. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great, nice and powerful even though it was an over bath shower. Lighting was excellent, enough plug sockets in handy reach.
The bar area was nice. It was manned by one young man, who was very courteous.

Loved this place. Our room was great, the staff were lovely and the breakfast options are excellent - so much better than the standard buffet of fading fry-up, or cereal. Could benefit from new carpet in one or two places, and maybe replace the.occasional cracked tile l, but overall the place and people.were so nice that those minor niggles are irrelevant..

It was just a lovely place to stay, quirky decor in the coolest way and we were made to feel so welcome. Next time we are in Ilkley that’s where we will be staying and I will recommend the place to anyone. No full English breakfast or Sky TV which made it all the better.

Thoroughly enjoyed Ilkley.
Thoroughly enjoyed Ilkley. There were lots of good quality shops and plenty of eating places to suit all tastes. The views are stunning with walks for all abilities. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. We ate at the Cow and Calf and the Wheatley Arms and would highly recommend both. A great variety of food, well prepared and presented.

Spent no time in Ilkley other than access and plan to re-visit for local attractions. The Cow & calf pub, up a steep hill from Craiglands Hotel, had a good selection of food, was very busy but rather expensive.

Helpful staff nothing was too much trouble, the food was very good and the room very comfortable clean and tidy. The only downside was there is no lift, which did prove difficult for me Sister who has mobility issues however Charlotte kindly offered to take our bags right up to the room which made a great difference and was much appreciated.

A thriving, friendly small town with a great choice of shops, including its own independent bookshop, cafes, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, and leisure facilities, including the fantastic lido. Plenty of walks either along the River Wharfe or up onto the moors, great cycling, and good bus and train connections to go further afield.

A very good hotel .good location. Good room
We had room 13..the food in the restaurant was good.
We sat nr coal fire. For evening meal and breakfast. Good breakfast cooked to order.
Disabled toilet downstairs .public toilet upstairs
Plenty of parking. There is a foot path to moors straight
Facing hotel car park. There is a night entrance key on your fob.
We Used this in the daytime .steps up to room are easy to climb.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely - we didn't need much lunch! We ate in the hotel on 2 nights and this was also very tasty. The ensuite was a good size with a good, powerful shower. The hotel had a lovely feel about it. We enjoyed the quiet location close to the moor but also with Ilkley easily accessible.
