The room was clean, although there was a strange smell when I went in but that could have been from outside. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great, nice and powerful even though it was an over bath shower. Lighting was excellent, enough plug sockets in handy reach. The bar area was nice. It was manned by one young man, who was very courteous.

Loved this place. Our room was great, the staff were lovely and the breakfast options are excellent - so much better than the standard buffet of fading fry-up, or cereal. Could benefit from new carpet in one or two places, and maybe replace the.occasional cracked tile l, but overall the place and people.were so nice that those minor niggles are irrelevant..

It was just a lovely place to stay, quirky decor in the coolest way and we were made to feel so welcome. Next time we are in Ilkley that’s where we will be staying and I will recommend the place to anyone. No full English breakfast or Sky TV which made it all the better.
