Excellent stay. The caravan was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. I was travelling for work so being able to easily connect to fast WIFI was excellent.
I ate over at The Tavern which was also very good.
The hosts left me a welcome basket with bread, milk, jam & coffee etc which was perfect for breakfast.
I often travel to Jedburgh for work and I will definitely stay here when I do!

The surroundings of this hotel are stunning. I brought my girlfriend here for me to propose to her, and the surroundings of the hotel was the perfect place for this. The staff could not have been kinder and more accommodating to making our stay even more special.

Jedburgh has a number of good tourist "sites" - one of the best abbeys. The main sites in town are all within easy walking distance of each other - so if you book accommodation in the town centre you can ditch the car while sightseeing in town.
It is also a great spot for day trips to other tourist sites in the Borders area - super easy drives to the other abbeys, castles, etc. Most are less than a half hour drive and can be strung together into great circle day tours.
There are a number of good restaurants and cafes in the town, although be warned that after tourist season (we were there in mid-Oct) some of them close early. We ate at the Carters Rest and the Belters Bar - great dinners at both locations.

It has a large free car park, free toilets at the car park with the information office and bus station next door. Very interesting free entry to the castle gaol and Mary, Queen of Scots house. It has a ruined Abbey. The town is compact and has lots of cafes and interesting little shops including a chocolate shop. It is a great place to stop on the A98 on the way to and from Edinburgh.

Jedburgh is a lovely town and we visited the Thistle & Tweed shop on the High Street which we cannot recommend highly enough.
There is also a lovely little florist and the young lady who helped us with a bouquet and also arranged some irises for us to leave at our Dad's grave was so helpful.

Lovely little market town where we normally just break our journey up to Aberdeen. It was nice to spend a little bit longer even though it's now the 'off season'. Lovely surroundings - it would seem there's a lot to do around there in Spring/Summer. Also some nice restaurants - especially Bella Sicily.

Plenty to see all within easy walking distance in this small town. Good choice of eating out, even on a Sunday evening. There is also a good selection of independent shops and small businesses in the centre.

Really happy with the hotel. Once I worked out the buses, it was a perfect place to stay. Really couldn't have asked for more for the price. The only problem - and this is on booking.com not the hotel - it's NOT IN JEDBURGH. It's in Denholm, which is more Hawick way. That really messed up my plans in terms of getting around the borders. Could have cost me a taxi fare or too. As it was it just cost me a few hours of my time in buses.
The self catering. Staying in a cottage for cultural aspect relating to the historical town of Jedburgh. In other words, staying for a similar price in a travel lodge, for me relates to a stay in a city like London, and is clinical. A bed and a shower basic.
Therefore far better to have a holiday home all to oneself. Not staying with others. Perfect!
William and his team were excellent, got a room upgrade and can't thank them enough!
Breakfast was exceptional, we spent 5 days in Scotland at 5 different hotels, this was by far the best!
Would definitely recommend a stay here, there's nothing not to like!
Lovely, comfortable and quiet property. Has everything you need. Free parking, Wi-Fi and close to Jedburgh centre, 5 min walk away. Lovely area to explore Scottish Borders and brilliant welcome pack on arrival.
