All in all it was a good night. Was slightly noisy with some other guests banging and playing loud music until around 2am

Great location for walks by the river or up on the moors. Hotel staff really friendly. Good breakfast menu. Clean and comfy rooms. We stayed with friends for three nights and ate in the restaurant a couple of nights. Good choice and good food. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The surrounding villages to Keighley are a delight.
The surrounding villages to Keighley are a delight. True Yorkshire folk, friendly and approachable. Keighley however is a little rough and the population are mostly cosmopolitan. Many shops are closed and there is a feel of low income and under investment. A shame as this should be a jewel in the dales.

Plenty of shops and a Wetherspoons.
Plenty of shops and a Wetherspoons. A lovely memorial garden area. A great bus station with helpful electronic timetables and lots of buses to different areas which we made use of each day. Friendly and helpful people everywhere.

Keighley is a good central place if you want to be within 45-50 minutes of both the Dales and Leeds, which is what we were after. The actual town has a lovely park (Cliffe Museum Park) and plenty of supermarkets. The station offers convenient links to Skipton and Leeds.

Keighley worked for us as we could easily drive to Haworth ( 12min) and the steam train station (6min from our cottage but not a nice walk as a really steep, busy road). The town did not look very appealing but had all amenities and a selection of restaurants/takeaways. We preferred to drive into the countryside

We were there to visit the steam railway, and the countryside there is beautiful. Keighley has some fabulous buildings, and we would love to visit again to explore more.
The steam railway is highly recommended. It is a beautiful railway with lots of interesting locomotives and rolling stock, and there are great collection in the museums at Oxenhope and Ingrow West. Fabulous!

Howarth is just a real delight.
Howarth is just a real delight. The town has a great spirit and enough to do on the high street (pubs, shops, cafes, galleries, pottery painting, restaurants), in and around the Brontë parsonage (which I highly recommend), and out in the surrounding countryside. I wish more towns were as friendly and took Halloween as seriously! I’d like to come again next year with more time to burn.
I highly recommend for considerate, clean, friendly travellers who will enjoy and respect the place.

Hazel's House is extremely comfortable and well located for access to Keighley, especially the station and the steam railway. Both bedrooms have impressive ceiling fans and even the one facing the main road is quiet. The bathroom is spacious and well equipped with a shower over the luxury bath. The kitchen is also well-equipped and the living room large enough for a dining table as well as comfy seating for the TV.
The caretaker was attentive and empathic, even for a very late arrival. This apartment was cosy, a pleasure to stay in, and amazed by the great price when booking.
I would book this again instead of staying in a nearby mainstream hotel.
Property was perfectly located for public transport. Keighley has excellent links to the surrounding areas in West Yorkshire. The apartment had everything we could possibly need and plenty of home comforts.
The nicest Hotel/pub I have stayed in for a long long time , the pictures don’t do the rooms the credit they deserve . Great staff , great rooms and great food.
