Set in Freuchie and within 28 km of St Andrews University, Lomond Hills Hotel & Health Club has a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property.

Location. The swimming pool and the spa. This will be a 10/10 hotel when it's fully up and running. Bike parking. An excellent area for cycle touring.

Situated in the picturesque village of Falkland with the Lomond Hills as a backdrop, The Covenanter Hotel features an on-site coffee shop, restaurant and free private parking.

Loved everything about the property. We were just disappointed because we thought we had booked the outlander room and didn’t realise you could only do this via the website. We still enjoyed our stay though.

Set in Glenrothes, 33 km from St Andrews University, Balbirnie House Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, private parking and a bar.

Great location and grounds. The hotel is set in amazing grounds with so much character. The staff can’t do enough for you. On arrival the room was really cold but it soon warmed up when I put the radiator on. Can’t fault the service and facilities.

Reasonable price, trustworthy and friendly people running it. Comfortable. Location might not suit all, but it did for me.

The Hayloft, a property with a garden, is located in Falkland, 36 km from St Andrews Bay, 37 km from Discovery Point, as well as 46 km from Forth Bridge.

Location was great and having an enclosed garden great for the dog. The staff were very friendly and the complimentary scones from the tea room was a nice touch.

Just a small village which I already knew but Kettle Inn and Italian Restaurant were lovely. Would've walked into the village more if the farm road had been better, bit too many pot holes and very uneven.
