What a find! The kind of timeless farmhouse you dream of but rarely come across. Utterly delightful hostess who made us feel like members of the family. Horses, dogs, enchantingly decorated rooms, warm bathroom (another rarity!), and gardens to wander around. Even a woodpecker popping in to the feeding station. Lucky to have discovered it, can't wait to go back.
Situated on the southern boundary of the Carmarthenshire seaside village of Ferryside, which nestles on the Three Rivers estuary of Carmarthen Bay, the hotel boasts a friendly environment and...

The cwtch was a perfect location for me to visit my family who live close by and to visit places, eg Oakwood theme park and Tenby. The pool that was on-site was lovely and clean with a friendly lifeguard. The facilities were excellent at the property, everything we needed and the milk, bread, biscuits and welsh cakes that were there were an added bonus. We cannot wait to return next year!

Beautifully located on an estuary so many hours can be spent watching the sea come in and go out again.
Its quiet, so a good place to recharge your batteries. There is a well established delicatessen selling lovely food, a newly established wine bar for small plates and a newly established casual dining and cocktail bar and of course the famous Brown's hotel. It is surrounded by countryside, and on the Wales coastal path, so good for walking too

A lovely historic village famous for Dylan Thomas having lived there (you can visit his house), Laugharne castle and proximity to Pendine Sands, home of a number of land speed record attempts in the early 20th century (there's an excellent museum for that there). Spectacular scenery. Browns Hotel (where Thomas drank - a lot :-)) is a real experience too.

I went for one night specifically to visit the Boat House of Dylan Thomas. Huge fan if his work and very special to see the shed where he wrote Under Milk Wood, etc. Spectacular views of the estuary.
You can go into the ruins of the castle, but you have to pay.
I would highly recommend Dexter's Steakhouse in Brown's Hotel for dinner. Sublime Ribeye steak and the best meal out had in a long while.

Laugharne is definitely one place to visit.
Laugharne is definitely one place to visit. Its history relates to the famous Welsh writer 'Dylan Thomas' who wrote 'Under Milk Wood' and this place is its home.
You can walk to his Writing Shed...The Boat House..The Church/Graveyard where he is buried...and there is a lovely 'Dylan Thomas Walk' which is signposted.
It has a Castle which looks over the Taf estuary.

Lovely location you can walk down into Laugharne but its only a short drive to tenby, Saundersfoot etc room was spotless although needs a little updating. The food was amazing and would highly recommend it, the best Gammon I have ever had. All the local people and the owners were so friendly pub is cosy with a beautiful open fire
A comfortable and quiet room in a beautiful location with great hospitality shown by the hostess. Laugharne was also full of kind and friendly people. A good and reliable bus service helped in the exploration of this interesting area.
Lovely room, comfortable & quiet.
Interesting hotel & great location to explore Laugharne. We stopped there for a night on our way to Tenby.
Restaurant is fantastic but best to book ahead.
