Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly is located a 5-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station, offering a central-city location, free WiFi and use of on-site bar One Lounge.

The hotel was clean & nicely presented. Little touches like a bottle of water in the room were lacking, not too much to ask for when paying £170 on a room only basis for one night.

Winner of the Leading Hotel of the Year 2019 award, Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel is located in the city's Free Trade Hall, next to the Central Convention Centre.

Fabulous staff throughout hotel, breakfast was delicious and a great variety. The bar was lovely atmosphere & spa facilities fabulously relaxing. Pool is such a delight, calm music, water is warm- like a lagoon, hot tub too, lovely steam, sauna rooms and experience showers, plus well equipped large gym. Robes & towels in room & getting lift direct to and from in them to spa is easy so just put swimwear on in room & collect towels provided in spa too . The hotel room beds are so comfortable & pillows, duvet you melt into for best nights sleep! Thanks so much for the special bday treat and card in room too. Can’t wait to return!

The Capital of the North

With an industrial past and a modern outlook, the complex fabric of Manchester is interlaced with interesting museums, English pubs and shopping centres.

Dash straight into the luxurious Selfridges and Triangle departments stores before checking out the old-English charm of the Shambles.

Manchester wouldn’t be the same without its 2 famous football clubs and fans can go wild at either of the Old Trafford or City of Manchester Stadiums. Music fans will adore the many shows performed at the Manchester Arena, the largest of its type in Europe, and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

The cultural foundations of this predominantly red-brick city are on display at the Manchester Museum and the People’s History Museum. If art is you preference, the extensive pre-Raphaelite collection at the Manchester Art Gallery is a sight to behold.

I am a Mancunian by birth but haven't lived there since childhood. It does upset me to see so many beggars in the town centre and around Piccadilly Gardens. The overall appearance in the city is not very clean. There are some good shops, restaurants and bars with a good transport system to get around. All in all Liverpool is much better.

Not the best city, especially after visiting Liverpool. Quite dirty and industrial. Would not like to spend too much time here. It is best as a fly-in fly-out place, while the surrounding areas are magnificent.

The tram system was amazing, so easy to get about once we got the hang of it. There was so much to see and do as well; Coronation Street Tour, River boat cruise, afternoon tea at The Refuge, the Cloud23 bar at the Hilton, The Lowry Exhibition, The Northern Quarter, Canal Street, The Museum of Illusions etc. The combination of old and more modern architecture was stunning. A truly remarkable city.

This hotel gets a really bad rep when really it is wonderful. I’ve never had any issues with this place. The staff are always wonderful. They’ll chat to you all day and check you in nice and quick. Location perfect. Right bang in Manchester City centre. I had booked for a gig in the city and needed somewhere central to Piccadilly for when I went to wales the day after. Room had no faults whatsoever. The windowless room had air con and tea and coffee in ect. Just basic things that you’ll need. Great because I was out for most of it.
