In the grounds of Epsom Downs Racecourse, Holiday Inn Express London Epsom is a stylish, modern hotel with free parking and free Wi-Fi. Epsom Downs Rail Station is just a mile away.

The hotel is generally basic and the decor a bit old fashioned but as expected. The staff are very friendly.

Located in Dorking, a 2-minute walk from Denbies Wine Estate, Denbies Vineyard Hotel is England's first carbon neutral vineyard hotel.

This is a lovely hotel in the middle of a vineyard. The views and nearby walks are beautiful. You have the advantage of being able to do a little wine tasting of Denbies own wine. The evening meal food was excellent. Fine dining and good service all at a fair price. The room is nicely decorated and has all you need. Even a coffee machine and fresh milk in a fridge. The staff were very friendly and well informed about Denbies wines and you even get a little taster on arrival. Breakfast was only £5 each to add on and was fantastic. The room is quiet and on ground level. We walked into the local town of Dorking via the vineyards. The Denbies shop and cafe next door is worth a visit.

Wotton House is nestled in 13 acres of listed gardens in the Surrey countryside, 3 miles outside of Dorking.

The drive down through the bluebell wood. to the tulip lined drive this stunning period home is set in the most beautiful grounds that are immediately kept. We stayed in the garden room having been upgraded so opening the door into the gardens was amazing. Our dog lived his best life enjoying lovely walks and having a cheeky homemade sausage at breakfast not to mention the numerous gravy bones from all the lovely staff. The staff were exceptional so warm, friendly and helpful. Especially Katrina and Fran they made our stay. Great pool to swim in too with a jacuzzi for a bit of relaxation afterwards.

Breakfast and dinner were both of a very high standard. Parts of the hotel date to the 16th century and our bedroom was quirky but large and well appointed. the bed was very comfortable. The setting requires street parking on rural roads, but this did not present a problem. There are many local country walks.

The food was excellent and the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were the best I remember ever having in a hotel. The only annoying thing was a light bulb was threatening to go, so was flickering.
