Very cozy, welcoming and clean. Delightful views over the countryside. Breakfast was delicious and taken in a sunny room overlooking the garden. Well situated for walking and for visiting local sites.

Lovely historic town, love visiting the Cowdray ruins and the Cowdray deli. Disappointed with the restaurant options available in the town, but highly recommend Costimestibles for sandwiches and cakes. Midhurst is a good location as nearby some great walks and country mansion estates to visit, and just down the road from the wonderful duke of Cumberland for the best Sunday roast you can buy. good location for Goodwood events.

In February, we found Midhurst a little quiet. We have visited in the summer before, which is a bit more jolly.
We found three pubs, with only one serving food during the week. However, we did find a large café serving a varied menu of foods and drinks.
We also visited an interesting French bakery which served excellent coffee.
The tapas bar was good and opens from Wednesday evening. We ordered too much food of course but had a pleasant evening.

We enjoyed walking around Cowdrey park and looking at the superb scenery. Midhurst is a nice place to see some quirky shops and some nice places to eat. Reason for visit was to see our daughter playing Felicity in "Relative Values", a light comedy by Noel Coward which was produced by Midhurst Players at the South Downs Centre Memorial Hall.

Midhurst is a hidden gem full of history and beautiful
countryside - in the heart of South Downs National Park.
Lovely country pubs and numerous eateries with access
both road and public transport to other towns.
Goodwood for classic car and horse racing, Cowdrey Park
for Polo and Guildford for shopping therapy are in easy
reach too.
Midhurst has numerous walking trails with lovely countryside
views as well as a lovely place just to relax.

Great area for walking with several trails nearby and good network of well maintained paths. Lots of history to explore and good selection of independent shops. Bus links to Petersfield, Chichester and Worthing via Petworth. I enjoyed Verdi's cafe for coffee and sandwiches.
