The location was central yet quiet. The hotel has a beautiful and picturesque garden which is perfect for relaxing. The room had a scenic view and ample space and was equipped with all amenities required

Room was large, nice bathroom. Wifi did not reach my room at all unfortunately. Not the most accessible room from the elevator.

The staff were excellent. The waiter with the long hair was excellent and the main receptionist was great! Really friendly and nothing was a problem.
The pool needs an update. The paint is cracking and peeling and makes it look dated.

This hotel is beautiful - location is stunning, fabulous facilities - spa pools etc. The best thing about the Headland is the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, very helpful, always ready to please. The service in the restaurant and bars was impeccable.
I use a mobility scooter and they gave me a room near a lift and the concierges were always there to open the front door for me as I went in and out.
On check in, the receptionist kindly took us on a tour of the hotel and showed us around - a really nice touch.
We ate three nights in the hotel, Terrace restaurant twice & Renmor one night - food was excellent in all. We are recommending the hotel to all our friends because of the staff.
Everything about this place is fantastic. We loved the restaurant, the room, the bed was so comfy and the staff made it all perfect. Easy place to stay to explore many attractions and towns in Cornwall.

We felt that the pub was formulaic in its approach to food...
We felt that the pub was formulaic in its approach to food and service and lacking in the sort of atmosphere that we were looking for - the room which granted was standard was generous but the ventilation and light were very poor. The location does not work unless you have a car.

I loved Mitchell it is very easy to get to off the A30.
I loved Mitchell it is very easy to get to off the A30. Our room 10 was a little dark as it was downstairs whereas my friend had room 11 which was fabulous. Very clean and large rooms and wonderful bathrooms. Just need better pillows :)

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. This makes such a difference to a stay. We brought our dog and there’s no doubt he was also treated like a paying customer! Dog treats and unlimited attention went down very well with him.
Breakfast was delicious and we chose to have dinner which was also fantastic.
Location was perfect to explore both the North or South coast.
Will certainly recommend this hotel and will book again when we return to Cornwall
