Nefyn – 39 hotels and places to stay

Situated in Nefyn, 36 km from Portmeirion, Gwesty Nanhoron Arms Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

This is my second stay here. This time I travelled alone on business. The friendly welcome and also the feeling that you are very much safe and looked after is great for me. I arrived quite close to closing time for the restaurant and they quickly squeezed me in. They also were so sweet when I mentioned I was leaving early - and prepared a little breakfast "grab bag!. It's very much home from home. I love it here.

Glan-Mor, a property with a garden, is situated in Pwllheli, 49 km from Snowdon, 49 km from Bangor Cathedral, as well as 13 km from Nefyn & District Golf Club.

The proximity to the beach was excellent plus a nice walk along the beach took us to Cafe Largo (a lovely cafe and our favourite whilst there) plus the staff were very friendly, there was a separate dining room for people with dogs too (which we were happy about having our dog with us) so highly recommended and town centre was a nice walk from the cafe!

Nefyn is a quite seaside town on the Llyn penninsula.

Nefyn is a quite seaside town on the Llyn penninsula. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend a weekend or a week relaxing, lazing on the beach when the weather permits, taking in the beautiful views, walking or hiking around the surrounding hilly countryside, then Nefyn may well be the place for you. There are golf links at nearby Morfa Nefyn. If you are looking for 5-star hotels, sophisticated nightlife or shopping, then Nefyn is not the place for you! The public bus service is limited, and so a car will be useful if you want to explore the tourist sites in the surrounding areas.

Nefyn itself is only a small town.

Nefyn itself is only a small town. There is a very good community pub and a very well stocked Spar convenience store. The road to the beach is very steep for walkers and cars alike but the beach is long and sandy and very pleasant.

Good beaches although a little cold for swimming.

Good beaches although a little cold for swimming. Trip was mainly walking and cycling centered, both of which were very enjoyable. The surrounding countryside was very pleasant and the coastal scenery could easily be appreciated from the coast path.

Free parking was available on the premises, though if I'd arrived 10 minutes later I doubt I would have got a space as they were filling up quickly. Check-in was smooth, the hotel itself and downstairs restaurant appeared clean and welcoming. Staff were always friendly and polite even when approached with issues with the room. Bed was comfortable enough for me. The cooked breakfast was served promptly and was well cooked.

The property is really nice. Clean, spacious, has all the amenities one could wish for. Is not close to any busy roads so it was very safe for my young kids to explore the surroundings. The view was amazing. It was very quiet and we really relaxed and enjoyed our stay. We will try to book it again if we return to Nefyn, as we really liked this accommodation.

Very well equipped old cottage, especially in the kitchen. Furnishings, bed and, linens all of a good quality. Lovely quiet location. Plenty of lovely walks nearby. Maps and local information provided. The Nanhoron Arms Hotel provides very nice food. We would certainly recommend staying at this cottage

Great location in the centre of Nefyn. My top floor room was clean and comfy with very good lighting and a good bathroom. The inn and bar below had a great Welsh atmosphere.
