At first glance the drive up to the hotel looks spectacular, greeted by a revolving door , that you struggle with a suitcase and bags
Receptionist polite
Room small and a small double bed , a small fridge on the floor
Bed was hard and uncomfortable
Food and drink grossly overpriced
£5.50 for a latte and the bar prices were for the stupid

Hotel is committed to service of the highest quality. It makes the best of its older property by style and decor. I'm Very restful lounge area. The stand-out feature for us was the variety and quality of the food. The chef selects the menu offerings based on availability and quality of his ingredients - and in our experience this led to very happy diners. Expertly prepared, attractively presented, and served with courtesy and efficiency. What's not to like! The manager Vicki went out of her way to ensure that our experience in her hotel was memorable.

Top of my list is McKays Fish & Chip Shop, the best chippy, where you can have a pint of beer with your meal if you are sitting in. The food is top quality with generous portions. The home-made Steak pie is unusual but delicious.

Gorgeous wee town.
Gorgeous wee town. We visited the highland swing in Killiecrankie, brilliant experience literally 10 minutes from where we stayed. Loved it, definitely worth another trip soon. We ate in the old mill inn, food was lovely, again staff and service great. Very affordable also. A really enjoyable positive trip all round

The Corner Shop - Scotch Corner (Winston) - The people huve to know - serves the most delicious flavoured ice creams - the Edradour was our favourite & there was often a queue outside the shop but was well worth the wait. The Loft Restaurant at Blair Atholl IMHO is best in Scotland - wonderful atmosphere & hosts. Unexpected find was Scottish wildlife trust Loch of the Lowes - great little gem for birdlife on the loch & a great feeding station set up behing massive glass windows for you to see the birds up close feeding.

The public areas were very spacious, especially the breakfast room with a pleasing, open outlook onto the garden. The bedroom was also spacious with a good sized bathroom. There is a long tree lined drive into the hotel, however it took around 8 minutes to reach the Pitlochry main street.
Lovely location not far from the town. The hotel is warm and welcoming with a friendly, polite and professional staff. Food to a high quality. We occupied a balcony room giving excellent views over Pitlochry. The hotel's decor was in a good condition. It looked fresh
The hotel is beautifully located as the start of the main road into Pitlochry, staff were incredibly friendly, room was nice and big and very clean. The breakfast had any amount to select from and was delicious, would highly recommend this establishment 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
