Had a great week in a lovely apartment. Lots of nice shops and restaurants/bars. Amazing food and particularly loved pizzas on the beach from Galleon. Beautiful beach. Very safe and clean. I would definitely go back, once the full facilities are up and running, we did have a bad first dinner, hopefully, it was a one-off, our bed was uncomfortable, so would change rooms. The place is spit and span clean, the bar is a little expensive, but local shops close bye. Staff most welcoming and friendly. Polzeath and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful, the beaches are fantastic although they get very busy in the season. You can find smaller coves and beaches nearby (Daymer Bay) that are quieter. Wadebridge is 6 miles away for major shops and small shops are available in the village itself with a good selection of food and goods.
