1.6 miles from Prestatyn Central Beach in Prestatyn, Terfyn Hall aquarium apartment 1 features accommodations with access to a hot tub.

Stunning views, relaxing atmosphere and the animals are adorable. I made a mistake when I booked as I had previously looked at this accommodation and when I went back on booking.com to book the search had reset and taken my children off. I messaged them and they made me feel like it wasn't a problem at all to add them. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly owner who was making up the extra beds for my children. The hot tub was warm and ready to get straight in. We all really enjoyed it. The Goats were lovely and the little escapee chickens made my boys giggle. The fish were also loved by the boys and they got super excited every time the turtle appeared. We ordered dominos pizza to the apartment and they found us no problem. There was an air fryer and microwave/combi oven if you prefer to cook for yourself. Breakfast was a lovely selection of bread, jams, cereal, chocolate croissant and chocolate chip muffins. The apartment was lovely, soft comfy bed and a fab shower. Towels were provided also. We were in apartment 1 which other guests in the other two apartments had to pass but it wasn't a problem and there was also a curtain if you'd rather have the privacy. Looking forward to coming back.

Food in the restaurant was good. The fan in the bathroom kept us awake all night. Did get a room change but got no sleep first night so was shattered the next day and was only there 2 nights. Wasnt offered any compensation. Pool was teppid. Think it was expensive for what we got.

My wife's family live in Prestatyn so I'm aware that I may be a little bias toward the area. We visit around once a month to see family and just enjoy a night away from home. There is a lot of really nice places to eat and drink which are all within walking distance. We tend to meet family in town for some food and a good catch up. Our favourite place to eat in town is Torrello, they have a really good menu and reasonably priced cocktails.

Great clean beaches, rock pools at different points kept kids happy. Sand dunes are a good little walk with dogs. Plenty of shops like Lidl, Tesco, pubs, cafes, etc The waves amusement area, play park and ice cream shop were great. It felt a very safe, relaxed and happy place.

Prestatyn is a lovely little town. Plenty of places to eat.

Prestatyn is a lovely little town. Plenty of places to eat. Easy access to the A55 and a great place to base yourself to explore the rest of North Wales. Chester is within easy reach and Manchester airport is less than an hour. The train service from London is very frequent which is how we arrived and takes less than 3 hours.

Plenty of places to eat in the High Street along with good selection of shops. Some really nice pubs just outside the town also, (check out the Eagle & Child). Plenty of car parks in the town and even the raillway station is central to the town.

    Beautiful location.

Beautiful location. If you enjoy walks then the park and beach over the road will not disappoint. Locals where friendly. Shops locally and take aways also. Family pub just down the road, does allowe dogs outside but not inside so we didn't go in there. We didn't go into the town centre, didn't need to.

We've had a lovely family mini break away in Swn y Mor. Beautifully clean accommodation and everything you could need for a self catering stay. Large enclosed garden for our dog and bonus of a hot tub too. Location is perfect for accessing the dog friendly section of Ffrith beach, plenty of places to eat in the area and close to Rhyl and Prestatyn town centres. Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant location, short walk to Prestatyn town & an even shorter walk to the dunes & beach. We even braved the steep walk to the stunning views on Offa's Dyke path. On a quiet site, Jacob's Retreat was clean & comfortable. We had a great stay & would love to come back next spring. Thank you!
