So we went to this retreat with the full hope of getting into a nice HOT TUB as stated, Got there and DEVASTATED WASNT THE WORD! No hot tub AT ALL!! Then it says that shampoo, slippers, bottle of water etc is there, Not a single thing was there to wash with at all, and there was only little left over toilet roll enough to have a few stripes off. This place was BEAUTIFUL but for a young couple we were really looking forward to the hot tub! Bed was very comfortable the best thing we liked about our stay was the Bath. The cleanliness wasnt great at all to be HONEST, me being a cleaner myself i was shocked, The walls are definitely not soundproof as we were awoke by neighbours even at half 2 in the morning 🙈, We got to sunbathe out the back luckly enough but overall we had to try make the most of our stay. Also the fire place was to be one of the best features as well as the hot tub, we spent ages looking to see how to turn it on to then find out it DOESNT and is just for show! Also theres a room with the washing machine and dishwasher the celling needs attention ASAP you can smell the dampness as soon as you go in, for anyone with health problems this wouldnt be good at all, Really think the website needs to be updated for people going in the future as it leads to BIG time let down.

Room was very clean and tidy to walk in to. Hotel staff were helpful when needed with a few last minute requests. Hotel is ideal for easy access to beach, shops, etc.
There is so much to see and do around Ayrshire and beyond.
There is so much to see and do around Ayrshire and beyond. Prestwick is a great location to tour about from. This property was near the train station and airport, and is ideally situated on the road network. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby or supermarkets if you prefer. It was a short walk to the beach and the golf course was across the road.

Prestwick is a good base for exploring the Ayrshire coast...
Prestwick is a good base for exploring the Ayrshire coast and surrounding countryside. Plenty of interesting places to visit in the area.
We visited Culzean Castle and Dumfries House both within a half an hour drive. You can also get the train to Glasgow from Prestwick.
There's a great selection of local independent shops and bars and restaurants on the High Street.

Prestwick is a beautiful little place.
Prestwick is a beautiful little place. The main street is full of life, lots of nice shops, good choice of eating places, love the vine and the lido also the wee cafe that does senior citizen lunch, all home cooked, delicious served by friendly staff. It's a wonderful place for walking,I love it, the prom and the dunes. Don't change anything about it apart from cleaning the beach.
