Was put up in the new part of the hotel. At £45 for the room wasn't expecting too much, however was spacious comfortable and clean. Staff(John I think) went over and above to help with mobility issues and found us room close to reception. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Linda is a lovely welcoming host who provides beautifully kept rooms for a great price. The location was very convenient for us to arrive in Prestwick by train as it's just a short walk away and then visit family in Ayr by bus. Thanks for having us!
Boasting panoramic views over the Clyde to the Isle of Arran, and only 5-minutes’ walk from Ayr town center, the hotel presents itself as the ideal base from which to explore the beauty of Ayrshire.

The location was great for a walk along the seafront or a short stroll to the bars and restaurants in the center of town. Staff were very friendly and helpful particularly the manager, reception staff and our cleaner. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. This hotel is remarkably good value for money.
Close to Ayr seafront and a few yards from the town center, Mercure Ayr is a comfy hotel with gym. Free WiFi is available throughout. The Brasserie Bar and Restaurant serves drinks, snacks and meals.

Good cooked selection at breakfast but could have been a bit hotter. Had been lying out on servery for too long.
We found the bed and pillows a little firm.

Great hotel, fantastic value for money, clean and tidy in a wonderful location. Superb staff in particular Robert who after I had left something of great sentimental value in my room went over and above to get it back to me, posting it on his day off.

There is so much to see and do around Ayrshire and beyond.
There is so much to see and do around Ayrshire and beyond. Prestwick is a great location to tour about from. This property was near the train station and airport, and is ideally situated on the road network. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby or supermarkets if you prefer. It was a short walk to the beach and the golf course was across the road.

Prestwick is a good base for exploring the Ayrshire coast and surrounding countryside. Plenty of interesting places to visit in the area.
We visited Culzean Castle and Dumfries House both within a half an hour drive. You can also get the train to Glasgow from Prestwick.
There's a great selection of local independent shops and bars and restaurants on the High Street.

Prestwick is a beautiful little place.
Prestwick is a beautiful little place. The main street is full of life, lots of nice shops, good choice of eating places, love the vine and the lido also the wee cafe that does senior citizen lunch, all home cooked, delicious served by friendly staff. It's a wonderful place for walking,I love it, the prom and the dunes. Don't change anything about it apart from cleaning the beach.

Excellent location, and good value. Well maintained. Good parking, easy to access keys, good instructions for the heating, walking distance to the town centre, including the excellent Chippy. Comfortable beds and sofas. Kitchen well stock with crockery and cutlery.
Friendly staff and spotlessly clean with comfy beds and good bathroom facilities. Nice walk down to the seaside and handy to Prestwick and Ayr. Perfect base for exploring the area.
