A beautiful hotel setting! A very old building steeped in history. Lovely buffet breakfast but no where near as good as Avimore Macdonald Highlands!
The bathroom and room were clean but we discovered a large amount of dog hair on my husband's socks! Need a dog vacuum cleaner if you have a dog policy (in my opinion!)

Property was as expected, good location and good no thrills value but I found some leftover wrapping paper from a nearby fast food restaurant on the window cill and they asked me to physically write down my credit card number in writing on my check in card, crazy thing to ask a guest to do. I will not be back.

This was perfect for me as a landing place close to the airport for one night. I felt completely safe walking all around on my own and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Not much in Ratho, the canal is a particular favourite as lots of activity and it’s quite picturesque. Easy access to Edinburgh scenery is fabulous and if it’s a quiet time you want then this is the place to go.
