Very clean and beautiful property. The staff were friendly although our server at dinner was not the best.

Located in the beautiful village of Craigellachie, The Craigellachie Hotel of Speyside dates from 1893.

We were spoiled! Unfortunately my husband got ill abruptly and everyone was so kind to cater to his needs and my requests. We want to especially thank Jane, Oscar and Clara for their exceptional hospitality. It warms my heart to think of our stay considering the circumstances. I want to return and explore the area, and these 3 individuals are the reason. Many blessings.

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s apartment, after a 13 hour drive all we wanted to do was chill out as we only had 2 days to view a house, the thoughtful little touches all over the apartment made us feel very welcome and was very much appreciated. The host Caroline is very knowledgeable of the area and very helpful, we would highly recommend a visit.

Rothes is a very quiet town.

Rothes is a very quiet town. There are no other restaurants in town. However the hotel restaurant is excellent. There is nothing to do in the town itself, but it is located in the heart of the scotch trail with many distilleries. Too many to visit in fact.

    Ok for a walking base.

Ok for a walking base. No eating facilities in village due to COVID restrictions. Very busy thoroughfare for distilleries so no good for peace and quiet. Free parking good. With COVID everything closed even whisky bars in the pubs.
