It was very clean, extra tea and coffee available for my room.
The staff were exceptionally helpful. I got lost getting there from the airport and the Manager even came to find me and carry my luggage. The staff couldn’t do enough for me. The breakfast was also amazing and they catered for a gluten free vegetarian very well. I’d definitely stay again.

We stayed in the St Ninians room which had a beautiful 4 poster bed and well designed bathroom with an excellent shower. The wicker baskets well stocked with a continental breakfast was a lovely touch.

I really liked the accomodation in Scalloway.
I really liked the accomodation in Scalloway. Scalloway itself is small but it is ideally placed to take trips to the Burras, south and north of Shetland. For restaurants and shops, Scalloway relies on Lerwick, less than 10min away

We were in Shetland for a car / bike show and therefore were mostly travelling over the island and in Lerwick
We were in Scalloway for dinner on one evening in a very nice pub/restaurant. The facilities in Scalloway were fairly good with a shop, a chippy, the pub and some shoreside parking with views
I believe it has an old castle but we didn't go there
Very friendly people

We love Shetland and have visited numerous times Scalloway sits in a beautiful location so much to see .Easy to find your way around locals warm and friendly.Great Chinese take away near castle but take cash as cards not accepted. Would also make sure you have some cash on you when visiting as we only found one cash machine unfortunately it was out of order at the time.

Lovely little town. Shetland in general was great!
Lovely little town. Shetland in general was great! We enjoyed exploring, swimming (v cold!) and visiting local arts and craft shops/ galleries.
Food was amazing particularly no88 in Lerwick, worth booking for dinner.
Hamnavoe is very pretty and a trip to Bressay for a meal at the Maryfield hotel was fun. St Ninians isle was stunning! Puffins and cake at Sumburgh head a must as was Jarlshof just down the road which I thought was more impressive than Scara Brae on Orkney.
