Good location with a fsnrastic view of the sea. We were so hapoy
when we reached the horel as it looked so nice inside. it was only a 10minute walk straigjt down Hope Road from Shanklin station. It is great if you dont drive as accessible from the station.
The hotel is on the costal path so not ideal if you have mobility issues. It is 2 minutes down the hill to the beach which was so convenient. A real bonus. Really great
Our rwin room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Towels changed daily.. The hotel was so quiet and we heard absolutely nothing both inside or outside. You saw the owners working around the hotel and they were friendly when we saw them.
There was no fridge in the room but I mentioned it and after a day t
here was mini one put in the room and this made a huge difference.
The bathroom was clean and was
The one point was there was No breakfast or any food and i said to the hotel as it was advertised when I booked that they would have breakfast but we explored other places to eat and it is out of season.
It is a great hotel if you like quiet and being near the beach.
The room could do with decorating finishing touches but we really enjoyed our stay in our lovely room.
The owners were busy getting it ready for the new season and it must be difficult as a hotel next to it and opposite and all along the road.
Thank you for our stay and the additional fridge which you could consider as standard when you are not doing any food.

This was my second stay at Keats Hotel, and again it was very enjoyable. I love its views, its quirkiness, and the owner Steve is great to talk to. It's good to see the improvements he has made, and I look forward to my next stay to see what further changes he makes. My dog Oska was made very welcome, my family enjoyed three rooms all close to each other, and the breakfasts were tasty and perfect to start the day. Also we enjoyed several games of pool!

February is not a busy time in Shanklin.
February is not a busy time in Shanklin. Many restaurants did not open until 5 pm. Only found one pub open, the Falcon. It did rain everyday, be sure to take waterproof outfits.
The Happy Haddock was a great place for fish and chips. Service ranges from great to average depending on the girls taking the order. Did eat there three times.

Shanklin is a dear town with a mixture of old and new. The old town is picturesque with plenty of cafes, pubs and eateries. The town is simple with charity shops among a few boutiques and niknak style shops.
The beach front has some nice restaurants with balconies overlooking the sea. There is an arcade and crazy golf centre and plenty of walks nearby.

Shanklin has a lot to off and is quieter than Sandown.
Shanklin has a lot to off and is quieter than Sandown.
There is a good, sandy beach, great for making sandcastles, playing games or just relaxing. There is not far to go to the sea for a paddle or swim.
Shanklin Chine is beautiful and well worth a visit. There are illuminations at night so very pretty. Once paid to enter you can return as often as you wish for a whole week. This is close to the beach and Shanklin Old Village which a beautiful, quaint old world village with thatched roofs.
There is a variety of shops and good places to eat both in the Shanklin Old Village and in Shanklin as well as places to stay.
There is a theatre with good shows.
There is a train station and an excellent bus service with easy access around the island.
This is a great place to stay.

Shanklin is shanklin, i hadnt been to IOW for twenty odd years, this was a weekend to celebrate my wife's 60th the island itself, isn't what is was, overall very tired. local delicacies aren't local anymore Clotted cream seems to be shipped in pre packaged portions from devon and cornwall
very dissapointing and very overpriced
every drive we went on we were met with reroutes due to various reasons,
I used to love the island when i was a child and enjoyed taking my family there as I got older a two day break was quite long enough but there was one highlight that did surprise me Godshill although it has moved with the times and updates a bit, it still retained some of its character, but particularly noteable the car park Still Free after all these years. SHOCK!

Salma was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the location, a great base from which to explore, close to Shanklin old village and The Chine. Sitting in the garden with the amazing views was very relaxing. Breakfast was more than adequate, with all the usual items available. Very peaceful overnight, we all slept well. Hope to return one day.
It was a good location. It's easy to visit the beach, Shankline Chine, Old Village etc. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The other 3 bed rooms were fine even though bathrooms do not have a lock. The staff were very friendly and helped with our requests.
Friendly welcoming hosts.
Spotlessly clean accommodation.
Thoughtful touches like homemade cake on arrival, fresh milk & water in the fridge
Amazing breakfast with the best homemade bread.
Easy 10 minute walk to Shanklin Old Village & short walk to the seafront
The room is decent and in very good location. It is close to beach but accessible from the the hotel directly. It overlooks the channel. The breakfast is good.
You get free access to Shanklin caves.
Central location in Shanklin, around 10 min walk to the old village and mins away from the Co-op and buses stops; welcoming staff. Nice garden to relax in.
