Location is beautiful set in a peaceful countryside area just outside of the village of Dorridge
There are lovely grounds to the property I had a lovely explore early one morning
Good pleasant welcome
My stay was because I was a delegate at a conference being held at Hogarths
My room was named Autumn
Good size room with very comfortable bed
Large TV with multiple options
Welcome is found on a tablet that provides the property info and WiFi codes
Good full Size bathroom with shower over bath Rain head and also hand shower
L'occitane toiletries mini size provided.. Would have been good it a moisturiser was also available.
I liked that they were using these in the toilets and there was hand cream as as option.
The room was very comfortable.
Kettle and tea selection with coffee too
Water was also available sparkling and still
Room service was good cleaned and the tea tray and water replenished
The room was over the outside utility area which at times did seem slightly noisy.
The food I enjoyed was part of the Conference but that was served well and fresh. The waiting staff were polite and seemed to work well together with the team leaders.
I enjoyed breakfast service there was a good choice available and the servers were very polite and helpful. The food was hot.
Check out was easy even though the staff were busy with the large group
Very pleasant stay I enjoyed the property and the location.
Thanks

1st room i was given was filthy and well overdue a makeover.
Threadbear carpet, paint coming off cieling, stains on bedsheets.
Previous guest put a sock over the smoke detector so probably smoked in there. Cleaner never noticed so it was still there when i got there.
Moved to another room which was much better.
Staff brilliant.

Solihull is a well-to-do town close to Birmingham, its airport and Conference Centre. Excellent shopping, it even has a John Lewis in the main shopping Centre, Torchwood! Plenty of restaurants and pubs and all within walking distance of the Hotel.

Tons of things to do for all ages.
Tons of things to do for all ages. Everything in walking distance. Close to two of the best parks in the West Midlands. Extremely relaxing. Great quality of food and great variety. Right be a great cinema. Train station near by can get you into Birmingham, Warwick, or Statford-upon-Avon quickly, so can stay and do all the West Midlands has to offer.

The old town has changed beyond recognition.
The old town has changed beyond recognition. Empty shops except for charity shops and 'The Mall', The quality of goods on sale rather poor unless you shop in one of the Pound Shops, John Lewis or Apple. 30 years has impacted negatively on the old Town, M & S gone, House of Fraser, good manners all gone, litter in the streets, even the coffee shops had dirty tables, litter on the floor, sad. Excuse my sarcasm in the next question

Sollihull has a lot to offer in things to do.
Sollihull has a lot to offer in things to do. The local National Institute (Baddesley Clinton) has 2 places to visit in a short driving distance with plenty of walking around the properties. There are restaurants within walking and short driving distances as well as grocery stores.

Didn't really see the place.
Didn't really see the place. We were there for an exhibition nearby. There are planty of good restuarants nearby. Just as well because the Regency Hotel restuarant was expensive and not very good.

Staff were excellent and efficient, room was lovely and spacious with plenty of wardrobe space especially as we took our dog with us. We had room service and ate in the restaurant and both the food and service was excellent . The photos really do not do this hotel justice it’s really lovely and welcoming and would not hesitate recommending or staying here again if in the area.
It was very spacious and comfortable. We were 3 colleagues attending a conference at the National Conference centre which was just a short drive away and a lot cheaper than a hotel
