Our room was spacious clean and had everything we wanted. The meal we had was superb and the breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. We will definitely look to stay again in the future.
The Widemouth Manor is a warm friendly pub/ hotel and looks out over the sandy bay which is famous for its surfing. Just off the A39, access to Devon and Cornwall could not be better.

Amazing location with a Great view and beach within walking distance, I paid for the cheapest room that I could walk to the beach from and wasn’t expecting such a great little hotel! Especially happy with the great balcony and view, also it was competitively priced compared to the local camp sites plot

It was quiet, clean and spoilt with a coffee machine, hot chocolate and bottled water. The rainfall shower was amazing!

Monique and Kit are wonderful hosts, good cooks and great gardeners: the building, its interior and its surroundings are all beautiful and well cared for. Rooms are separated from the main pub buildings by stairs in the little garden, and offer facilities beyond what you’d expect - e.g: extra heating, bathrobes, a sofa, good books. The view of the church just outside is lovely. The menu was really unexpected, tasty and fun, and the breakfast in their lovely garden room (including ginger and turmeric shot and homemade granola) was superb. Pyworthy is just off the beaten track, meaning you wake to birdsong and nothing else. A wonderful find especially if you’re exploring mid-Devon/Exmoor/Dartmoor, or perhaps on the way further west and looking for a stopover. I’ll be sure to return.

Very isolated make sure you have everything you need before you arrive such as essentials as nothing stays open very late and you’re miles out from anywhere especially if you don’t drive !
It’s a nice and small place to visit . Very peaceful and beautiful to see so enjoy !
I didn’t get to see much though as I wasn’t here long at all but for the time I stayed I have zero complaints and I’d recommend staying at ‘the bay’ on Howells rd the host is called Andy and the photos of the place don’t do it justice .

Great location for wedding venue we attended.
Great location for wedding venue we attended.
Ate pub special day arrived, otherwise just had full English breakfast.
Downstairs conversation travelled to room but after all building is very old. Plenty historical buildings for interest, accommodation is a coachhouse, centrally located, parking available. Walking distance to Bude though terraine a little hilly for the feint hearted.
For those reliant on public transport, local bus runs often throughout the day.
