We had a great stay! The location was perfect for us, especially with our family living nearby—it made everything so convenient. The space was a great size for the four of us, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy our time together. It felt very spacious, nicely decorated, and overall just really comfortable. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged, which made us feel right at home. We’d definitely book again!

Lovely host, couldn't be more accommodating. House very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfy. Would stay again if in the area and would recommend.

Lovely evening meal. Easy parking. Staff very nice to deal with, friendly and attentive. Internet fast. Mattress very good. You have to bear in mind this is a very old property and it affects many aspects compared to a shiny new place but I liked the character

The property is in Moira not in Swadlincote which is three miles away. Moira is and old mining village on the edge of the Ashby Canal. You can walk along the canal for ten minutes to Conkers, a free park and the entrance to Conkers Water Park ( entrance fee.) Conkers Adventure park is accessed from the village the other side of the canal. The canal in the other direction takes you to Moira Furnace Museum (small fee) and Donisthorpe Country Park.
