Walking distance to the beach and Portobello promenade. Fantastic staff, nothing is too much for them! It was my husband's birthday, and the room was decorated with the lovely birthday card on the side and baloons/banner above the bed. Nice breakfast. Access to the swimming pool and gym. Comfortable beds, clean and spacious room. Hope we will be staying here again.

First of all, the check in was absolutely awful. No information as to how we could check in were provided so we were expecting that someone would be at the property to check us in at the requested check in time. However, as we turned up absolutely no one was there and we weren't able to enter the house anywhere either. The doorbell wasn't working either. We then had to call the owner (at least the phone number was provided on a sign at the property) and found out that we were supposed to enter through a side entrance that was unfortunately locked as well... After some issues we eventually got in.
Other than the awful check in we were quite pleased with the room itself. Everything was clean and apparently just got renovated. The shower was a bit weird but we still ended up having a pleasant stay after all.
Plus the location directly next to a bus stop is amazing as you can easily get to the city center or elsewhere.

Had to book last minute, communication was great and Nicola was really friendly and helpful. The location was so idyllic, really peaceful surrounded by farmland. The photos don't do the pod justice, it was bigger than we expected and came with all the conveniences including a TV The outdoor seating area was perfect and we made good use of the firepit for a BBQ. Very close to Edinburgh so ideal if visiting and want somewhere quiet and personal to stay instead of a hotel. Would definitely use Jerusalem Farm Pods again.
We needed a stay close to Tranent and this location was ideal, we have not stayed in a pod before but we found this to be a very comfortable option. Nichola checked us in, provided milk, tea and coffee and made us feel very welcome. Had our morning coffee on the deck with a lovely view of the hills in the distance. We have no hesitation in recommending Jerusalem Farm Pods.
