Staff were very helpful and happy.
Building work at the hotel which we were unaware of when booking was a bit disappointing but staff gave us a free drink at the bar. So not bad.

The staff was great, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, Bogdan especially was super helpful and gave us good tips about the area.
The food was delicious, everything cooked to perfection (just wish there was MORE of it in every portion!)
The room was large and comfortable, beautifully designed. Sure, I banged my head about 5 times on low hanging beams and door frames, but I had made my peace with it beforehand due to the architecture in the region, tall people are punished.
I only have MINOR things I didn't like, which in the grand scheme of things can be forgiven thanks to everything else being incredibly good.

The room accommodation was superb. Also ate in the dining room which was very good (breakfast also excellent). We drove there and was adequate parking to the rear of the hotel (Tesla charge points also). Very tranquil area and very relaxing. Will definitely stay again

It was a real pleasure to to stay at this very elegant historic hotel which can I say holds accurate and precise measures in the current covid drama. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again as I felt so assured measures were being done to protect staff and guests alike. I came with my mum as we are both facing stressful lives personal matters and we really felt like this was a haven retreat to de stress and forget life for the time we were there. We took the delicious and hearty cream tea, dined for our evening meal (please be aware you must book for both as they fill up quickly) all ecceeded our expectations with quality and taste. We look forward to coming back again.

The breakfast was delicious as was the evening meal. The location was superb with beautiful walks from the doorstep. We were within easy striking distance of lots of lovely Cotswold's attractions. A beautiful hotel and very comfortable, we would definitely return as we found our stay very relaxing
