It's very convenient being on the A1. A room at the back of hotel is a must. This time we were in the main house at rear & had a large pleasant airy room.
Our evening meal consisted of steak & ale pie with mash... which was locally made am sure & very tasty.

Went with a group of football kids and their dads. Children were happy to play without causing too much disturbance to the other guests and staff. Breakfast was solid. Asked for a room with two single beds and got it. Staff very accommodating.

This is a recently refurbished old hotel which has had no expense spared to bring it up to a very high standard. The ambience is excellent, high level of finishing and comfort. Wansford is a charming old village which is very quiet. The hotel sits next to the River Nene giving a lovely peaceful rural feel. A great place to meet friends and stay.
