United KingdomThe Greyhound inn is an amazing place,Sharon and Steve are fantastic hosts and the two young ladies who were serving us on the night and morning, apologies didn't get their names were amazing.The room we were given was amazing,we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and Sharon and Steve couldn't of been more accommodating.We had a meal on Saturday night which was amazing,I keep using amazing 😄but the Greyhound inn is exactly that.You can't fault the breakfast you had a continental to start with if you wanted it and also a hot choice.We just had the hot choice and pleased we did because the full English breakfast was huge everything you wanted on the plate,it was you guessed it Amazing😄.We can't recommend the Greyhound inn enough AMAZING 😂👍 Thank you Sharon and Steve xx

Beautiful part of the country. Quaint little village. Did not get to visit the pub as there was a power cut when we arrived. Short drive to Scarborough if you fancy a stroll on the beach. Meadowside is an absolute gem of a place to stay. The host is very gracious and the extra mile he goes to for his guests is superb. We selected the cheapest room as it was an over night stay.
We selected the cheapest room as it was an over night stay. The photos made it look bigger than it was . Would recommend paying the extra for one of their other rooms (which we have stayed in and are far better.) Many local attractions close by if travelling by car. Both pubs do not open until 4pm at this time of year so had to go elsewhere to find somewhere for lunch. Room was a bit tired and could do with an update but perfectly adequate with tea and coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was excellent and promptly served. Strange bit was that I may have had a visitation from Mary who was a previous owner of the Blue Bell about 2 hundred years ago.
