The walls were a bit thin within the room I occupied (I went to bed early after a long drive), so maybe worth asking for a quiet room for those who want complete silence on their stay. Apart from this very minor point, the stay was excellent. Really impressed with the relaxed atmosphere, the staff and the overall cleanliness and layout of the room. Witney is a great little town, although it does get very busy around rush hour and at the weekend. There are plenty of good places to eat (I would recommend the Blue Boar) and a nice variety of shops as well as a cinema. Use it as a base to explore Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. Witney is a lovely little market town with plenty of food and drink establishments. The food at the Blue Boar was very good. There is a great deal of choice in the High Street and adjoining Corn Street all easy walking distance.
