Lights in room don't work. Wetroom Bathroom flooded. Single glazing. Hairdryer was a real death trap - exposed elements when u turned it on. Door wouldn't lock, took ages to fiddle with it to make it lock. If I'd paid less it wouldn't be so bad but it was quite an expensive hotel for what you got Request a room on a higher floor to be away from the bars below

I often stay in Hope St and I really like it.. facilities are great and staff are friendly. This weekend I paid more than usual but it was the Grand National weekend so I didn’t mind . My only issue was that there was a smell of cigarettes in the room .. which I have to say was unusual - I didn’t make a fuss as it was so busy (but I would have normally). It won’t put me off going back.

Situated within a 5-minute walk of Royal Court Theatre, Brownlows Inn is situated above a pub.

For one night the room was fine. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot. There was a smell of sewage coming from the bathroom and my room was street side so the noise from the street was very loud even though the windows were shut. The room was quite cold as well but there was a heater which was good. The main problem was the noise from the street as it stopped me from sleeping so bring ear plugs!
