In a stately 18th-century building at the end of Wrexham High Street, The Wynnstay Arms Hotel provides comfortable en suite rooms with a restaurant and bar.

There was a mix up and we were put in a double room rather than a twin but the staff were great and were able to move us into a twin the next afternoon

Offering a garden and garden view, Berwyn Shepherds Hut is located in Wrexham, 25 km from Whittington Castle and 25 km from Horseshoe Pass.

The hut was very welcoming and pleasing on arrival. Beautiful location , everything you need inside, little extras that go along way like having condiments, bathroom products, towels, wood, kindling, blankets. Even enjoyed the board games and reading the guest book. I love the stream running through the site and outdoor seating area with fire pit.

Oak Mead is located in Wrexham, 15 km from Chester Racecourse, 22 km from Chester Zoo, and 26 km from Delamere Forest.

We stayed in The Brook cabin. In a beautiful setting, with our own private garden overlooking the horses. There's a fire pit for toasting marshmallows and we lay on the sun loungers drinking the complimentary prosecco. The cabin was gorgeous with a comfy bed, hot shower and plenty of room for 2 and our dog. An ideal place to unwind and relax.

This is a budget hotel so posh curtains, high end linen and farrow and ball interiors weren’t my expectations but filth behind the lightweight bed (easy to move) a towel for each guest and a spoon to stir my coffee with were. Staff were great, but housekeeping certainly wasn’t. Shane on Marstons for allowing such a grim state.

We were visiting to watch the Wrexham match. Found a car park about a 10min walk from the football ground. £6 for 4hrs parking. We ate at The Fat Boar. Food was delicious, great service and atmosphere.

Family are in Wrexham otherwise I’d probably go to Chester instead , but it has a-renewed confidence of late . Things seem to be improving , we eat at the restaurant at the Cambrian college ,which is well staffed by students and went to X in the town and both can be highly recommended

I loved the facilities, the caring staff, the excellent value for money. Suffering as I do from dementia as I do, I needed to feel secure & safe & The Lemon Tree Staff stepped up to the mark & made me feel so special

I was very disappointed with Wrexham.

I was very disappointed with Wrexham. Many empty shops and most car parks payable by app only. I visited St Mary's Cathedral and had a warm welcome from staff there. This was the high point of a disappointing visit. Unlikely to visit again

We were visiting family who live close to Wrexham, we did not visit around the town as we have done that on previous visits. We have tried a number of reasonably priced accommodations in the Wrexham are, but on both occasions have had disturbed stays due to noisy local residents. If you are visiting Wrexham and not partaking in the extremely loud night life or venues then you will need to avoid the town area and move out beyond the town boundary in order to find a quieter accommodation.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Wrexham. The room was small but adequate for us and had everything you required. Did not have breakfast but had 2 meals there during our stay and they were both very good. Parking is good with plenty of room.
