This place was one of the best I've ever visited. I've been to 37 countries in the past year, and The Lemon Tree was my all-around fave place to stay. From the dinner to breakfast to afternoon tea, the food was incredible. The service and free parking during the Wrexham match was also incredibly kind. I would come back to Wrexham just to stay here.

The location is perfect for a little bit of peace and quiet, and to reset for a weekend.
The cabin itself is fully equipped with everything you might need for a night or two.
There were nice touches from the owners such as free chocolate and sparklers, and getting to meet Laura as we arrived was very nice as she gave us some advice on the location should we want to go for a walk.
We were lucky not to have any rain which meant we could sit outside for most of the evening, and use the outside BBQ for our dinner.
If you like animals, this is the place for you. We were amazed to see so many lambs, turkeys and pheasant on the property.

This is a budget hotel so posh curtains, high end linen and farrow and ball interiors weren’t my expectations but filth behind the lightweight bed (easy to move) a towel for each guest and a spoon to stir my coffee with were. Staff were great, but housekeeping certainly wasn’t. Shane on Marstons for allowing such a grim state.

Family are in Wrexham otherwise I’d probably go to Chester instead , but it has a-renewed confidence of late . Things seem to be improving , we eat at the restaurant at the Cambrian college ,which is well staffed by students and went to X in the town and both can be highly recommended

I was very disappointed with Wrexham.
I was very disappointed with Wrexham. Many empty shops and most car parks payable by app only. I visited St Mary's Cathedral and had a warm welcome from staff there. This was the high point of a disappointing visit. Unlikely to visit again

We were visiting family who live close to Wrexham, we did not visit around the town as we have done that on previous visits. We have tried a number of reasonably priced accommodations in the Wrexham are, but on both occasions have had disturbed stays due to noisy local residents. If you are visiting Wrexham and not partaking in the extremely loud night life or venues then you will need to avoid the town area and move out beyond the town boundary in order to find a quieter accommodation.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Wrexham. The room was small but adequate for us and had everything you required. Did not have breakfast but had 2 meals there during our stay and they were both very good. Parking is good with plenty of room.
Stayed overnight with my daughter location was good close to shops. Hotel decorated beautifully rooms clean and spacious. Staff very polite and welcoming on check in and at the bar . Would definitely visit again if I’m in the area .
A lovely property to stay in whilst visiting the Wrexham area. Well equipped and very clean. The facilities within were very much appreciated to enable us to store and make our breakfast.
Lovely little getaway in the peaceful hills of north Wales and very helpful owner, a lot of thought and effort has gone into the grounds and makes for a nice place to stay.
