Wrexham – 23 hotels and places to stay

In Wrexham town center, the Lemon Tree Hotel offers stylish rooms with character features. With free WiFi and free parking, there is also a restaurant.

This place was one of the best I've ever visited. I've been to 37 countries in the past year, and The Lemon Tree was my all-around fave place to stay. From the dinner to breakfast to afternoon tea, the food was incredible. The service and free parking during the Wrexham match was also incredibly kind. I would come back to Wrexham just to stay here.

Berwyn Shepherds Hut offers accommodations in Wrexham, 14 miles from Chirk Castle and 15 miles from Whittington Castle. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

The location is perfect for a little bit of peace and quiet, and to reset for a weekend. The cabin itself is fully equipped with everything you might need for a night or two. There were nice touches from the owners such as free chocolate and sparklers, and getting to meet Laura as we arrived was very nice as she gave us some advice on the location should we want to go for a walk. We were lucky not to have any rain which meant we could sit outside for most of the evening, and use the outside BBQ for our dinner. If you like animals, this is the place for you. We were amazed to see so many lambs, turkeys and pheasant on the property.

This is a budget hotel so posh curtains, high end linen and farrow and ball interiors weren’t my expectations but filth behind the lightweight bed (easy to move) a towel for each guest and a spoon to stir my coffee with were. Staff were great, but housekeeping certainly wasn’t. Shane on Marstons for allowing such a grim state.

We were visiting to watch the Wrexham match. Found a car park about a 10min walk from the football ground. £6 for 4hrs parking. We ate at The Fat Boar. Food was delicious, great service and atmosphere.

Family are in Wrexham otherwise I’d probably go to Chester instead , but it has a-renewed confidence of late . Things seem to be improving , we eat at the restaurant at the Cambrian college ,which is well staffed by students and went to X in the town and both can be highly recommended

I loved the facilities, the caring staff, the excellent value for money. Suffering as I do from dementia as I do, I needed to feel secure & safe & The Lemon Tree Staff stepped up to the mark & made me feel so special

I was very disappointed with Wrexham.

I was very disappointed with Wrexham. Many empty shops and most car parks payable by app only. I visited St Mary's Cathedral and had a warm welcome from staff there. This was the high point of a disappointing visit. Unlikely to visit again

We were visiting family who live close to Wrexham, we did not visit around the town as we have done that on previous visits. We have tried a number of reasonably priced accommodations in the Wrexham are, but on both occasions have had disturbed stays due to noisy local residents. If you are visiting Wrexham and not partaking in the extremely loud night life or venues then you will need to avoid the town area and move out beyond the town boundary in order to find a quieter accommodation.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Wrexham. The room was small but adequate for us and had everything you required. Did not have breakfast but had 2 meals there during our stay and they were both very good. Parking is good with plenty of room.
