The place was cosy, comfortable and best hotel in gori to stay.. Special thanks to Irakali who made our trip fabulous in every possible way! We thoroughly enjoyed the delicacies and the best support from Irakali. He arranged for everything we needed there, and gave special support for the baby. We as family would highly recommend this hotel

We had a great time at the chateau. Dinner was abundant and delicious. We highly recommend the wine tasting. The host was very kind and jumpstarted our car when we had to leave and it wouldn't turn on.

Great location, right next to Stalins museum, probably one of the best available in Gori which has not many semi decent places to start with.
Staff were lovely and showed us the room before we made a choice whether to stay or not.
We booked the suite which was disproportionately massive and lit so brightly you could see all the bits you'd rather not see, but it's Gori, don't expect the Ritz. We also checked out the other 'luxury' hotels in the area but settled on this one for the good value.
It has a big pool which we didn't try, also a bar / cafe which we also didn't partake for breakfast or drinks (check out the bakery at the north end of the road).
Overall a good place to stay for a night if for some reason you have to overnight in Gori.

Free parking on the street, outside the building. Easy access to the room (the balcony door was opening on the street). There was air conditioning in the door. The hosts offered us a nice breakfast :)

Gori: A Day Trip from Tbilisi
Gori is a small and quiet town in central Georgia, with a population of around 50,000 people. It is best known as the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, and it is home to a number of Stalin-related museums and attractions.
Gori is a good enough place to visit for a day trip from Tbilisi, but there is not much to see or do otherwise. The main attractions in Gori are:
Stalin Museum: This museum is dedicated to the life and legacy of Joseph Stalin. It contains a large collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents related to him. The museum isn't well-organized and informative, and thus it is helpful to have a guide to explain the exhibits in more detail. There were photos of several men, but no real explanation as to who they were. We tried to find a guide who could explain things to us, but due to a language barrier, we failed at this. The ticket price is 15 GEL (6 USD) per person.
Gori Fortress: This medieval fortress is located on a hilltop overlooking the city. It offers underwhelming views of the surrounding countryside. The fortress is in ruins and didn't really feel like it was worth a climb.
Hero Memorial: It had cool giant sculptures but with no real explanation.
I also ate at Berkin Restaurant in Gori. The food was nice, but the prices were similar to Tbilisi, so it is not a budget-friendly option.
It's clear they are very new to tourists.
Overall, Gori is a worth a visit if you are interested in learning more about Joseph Stalin or Georgian history. However, there is not much else to see or do in the town, so it is best to visit as a day trip from Tbilisi.

I've been to Gori several times of the past years.
I've been to Gori several times of the past years. The cutleti is awesome and the fortress is a fun place to explore. Aside from the infamous Stalin museum, there is a interesting ethnographic museum and the war museum.

We have fallen in love with Gori, it is one of our most favorite places to stay now. One of the best restaurants in Georgia call Gori home, from the ruins, to the temple to the Castle, slowly walking through oldtown or visiting one of the most iconic museums in history you cant stop falling in love with Gori, the rich culture, history and friendly hosts this area has to offer is seldom found outside of major centres around the world, the city successfully hosts their offering to travelers and guests.

This hotel surpassed my expectations the most. Everything is so cutemy decorated, new, clean, so much attention and love to details. All kind of information about Gori, complimentary wine, unlimited tea-coffee and even massage armchair included! Emma was superhospitable. Location very quiet and close to the center.
It's a great little hotel in the city center near the Gori fortress. The hotel has its own parking. Everything looks new and exceptionally clean and tidy. The owners were extremely welcoming. If we ever return to Gori, this hotel will be our first choice without a doubt.
A well equipped, comfortable hotel with great wellness and pool area. Both the dry and wet sauna is superb. As bonus we were upgraded to a deluxe room, which had an amazing view to the Gori castle. Special thanks for this upgrade.
Lia is one of the sweetest people we’ve met. She talks with passion about her city and Georgia, made us breakfast and made us feel at home. There is only one place to sleep in Gori and that is this one!
Svetlana is really nice host, she speaks very well English. She can recommend you good places in Gori and Overall Georgia. Staying at her place is like staying at family home. Highly recommended
