Where do I start? Glamping Tago is the most stunning accommodation I have ever stayed at. I won’t lie, it’s a trek which takes a Marshrutka from Batumi to Khulo and then a shuttle from Khulo to Tago but it is worth every bump in the road - it really is the most amazing place. The views of the mountains and villages all around you is something that isn’t soon forgotten and the glamping tents are very comfortable. Included in the price there is a sauna in a glamping tent you can use which is great and a yoga session in the morning which sets you up for the day. The food is fantastic, mostly Georgian, vegetarian food, prepared by local Tago chefs - the banana cake was superb. The team are very friendly and kept in contact via WhatsApp - updating me on timings for events that were happening and when meals were being served, in addition to when the shuttle would take me back to Khulo. Quick mention that my Marshrutka took a while to get to Khulo and they waited the best part of 45 minutes for me to arrive and take me to Tago. There is an array of people from various nationalities working at the site which provokes some fascinating discussions. They really are all excellent people and they make the experience what it is. The campfire which starts in the evening allows you to meet fellow travellers/visitors whilst relaxing in the most perfect place and if my experience is anything to go off, you must visit upon your stay in Georgia - it is so worth the travel to see such a beautiful, off the beaten track part of a glorious country. Just look at the pictures!

We absolutely loved staying in Khulo at Guest House Karati - so much so that we extended our stay. It has been a real highlight of our trip to Georgia so far. The family are utterly charming: so kind and friendly, and we loved playing table tennis with everyone on our final night. The owners insisted on giving us lifts to and from Khulo town even though we were happy to walk. The breakfast and home made dinner were fantastic: fresh, tasty, almost entirely home grown/made (including the wine), and very reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed the home made Adjarian specialities including Sinori. The house is in a beautiful setting, high up on the valley side outside Khulo. We would recommend that anyone stay here if they plan to visit Adjara. Thank you!

Wow - a perfect place! It was an absolute paradise. The view over the valley is amazing, it is totally quiet, a real hideaway. The owner was very kind and allowed us to pluck some tomatoes for dinner. Breakfast was also good and nourishing. Rooms really comfortable and cosy with all the wood, good architecture. Absolutely easy to find with signposts all over the village. A 4x4 is recommended if you want to go right to the front door.

A Perfect Getaway in the Heart of Khulo! We had an absolutely amazing two-day stay at this beautiful cottage in Khulo. The serene mountain views were breathtaking, and the cottage itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. The peaceful surroundings made it the ideal escape from city life. We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings and exploring the nearby hiking trails during the day. The location is perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature while still being close to local attractions. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking tranquility, stunning views, and warm hospitality. We can't wait to come back!
