I had to book this hotel at 11.45 and checkin at 12. I booked this hotel in emergency because of original hotel booking screwed up. But when I arrived at hotel LATE at 12 midnight with no food along with my family, they cooked dinner for us although all outlets and restaurants close at 10 pm. They opened the restaurant at midnight and cooked food for my family. What you find best at this place is LANA. LANA is the best hostess, very welcoming, proactive and will take care of all need of your family. I'm very thankful to Lana for taking care of my family and feeding us at the times when we cannot find anything at midnight. Talking about property, very clean, hygienic, and all things properly functional. At its best. Having said that, place is about people and these are the best people you will find in Georgia. Lana, special thanks to you. Grateful 🙏 Hope to see you all next year.

The place is a little Georgian heaven. If you look for a place near Tbilisi to rest, take your time during a trip, or visit Mtskheta (the place is located in a central spot in the old city just off the main street) , Magdalena is a must.

    The cabin was nice and clean, and the owner was friendly.

    The cabin was nice and clean, and the owner was friendly. It was located in the backyard of their house but still comfortable. There were no windows or anything towards the cabin itself. It's close to the riverside, and you could easily walk there. The rest looked the same as the pictures. There were also some snacks in the mini-fridge, but I believe you have to pay some extra charge for them (we didn't use them, so I'm not sure). upstairs was very hot (we went there in July) but while you were downstairs you could easily use AC. Also, I expected some slippers but I couldn't find any.

    All in all a lovely place. Very peaceful. Not at all chaotic. Very friendly. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, wineries, river tours. Very nice wine ice cream. A great place for a stop over. Lovely homemade jewellery design shops.

    Mtskheta can be seen in a day.

    Mtskheta can be seen in a day. I stayed for a week due to personal reasons. It's a nice quiet place, with little distraction so I was able to focus on my work. Lovely little town, exceptionally touristy. Very little to do especially in Winter. Truly beautiful, can walk down to the river or around the church, the mountains in the distance are lovely. Hiking trails and nature nearby. Pedestrian-friendly.
