Location was conveniently right on the town square, as were many other guest houses, so there was option to eat in different places and to walk to the tower. Some of the food was very good.

Great property in a very secluded part of Georgia. They say the journey is the destination. In this case, it’s’ partially true. The journey to the hotel is an unforgettable 70km drive through incredible scenery on a road that is not for the fainted hearted. We hired a driver who makes the 4 hour trip multiple times per week. The hotel staff were incredible with just the right amount of assistance without being overbearing. The property doesn’t have modern conveniences that you find in other hotels around they world like TV, minibar and refrigerator, but that was just fine for us. The hotel restaurant has a great menu of local and Georgian dishes. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant on each of our three days there. Nothing disappointed us. It’s a beautifully decorated property with lots of windows to the extraordinary mountain views
If you are ready for an adventure with a great hotel destination, I highly recommend Samzeo

The hosts were incredibly hospitable, they cooked great breakfast and dinner every day and even made us a packed lunch for our hike. Best view in the village with no other buildings obstructing the landscape - a dream to wake up to every morning.

The hotel is located in Old Omalo, near Keselo Fortress. The room was comfy, clean. It had all the supplies, moreover the staff was friendly and helpful, thus we had everything that we needed. Nino's cooking is worth a special mention. It was so delicious, so even though we stayed at another hotel on our way back, we came several times to A North Stay for breakfasts and dinners.

One of the best preserved wild natures in the world; a magnificent region for those who love hiking, nature, mountains, etc. You can stay longer and follow a camping route, or you can stay for 3-4 days and do daily nature walks. Or you can just sip your drink and read your book in a peaceful and serene way, alone with nature.

such a unique place to visit in a highly remote area of the country thats basically only open for 3 months of the year due to bad weather and a single dirt track that gets badly damaged due to the mountainous terrain where landslides are common. I would also guess a birdwatchers paradise with birds of prey gliding overhead at almost every spot!
