Both the owner and the granddaughter were very sweet and made us feel like at home, even taking us arround the town to see the only shop and explaining how people lived there. The granddaughter likes to have a good chat so it was quite entertaining to speak with a local and learning more about the area, her family or gerogian culture in general. The room is nice and quite big and the bed is allright. For breakfast you will be able to have the cheese that the grandma makes herself with her cows and sells to hotels and restaurants in neighbouring towns and cities! During summer the room might be a bit warm though.

Great, outstanding breakfast. Way more than we two can eat. Everything: vegetables, cheese, vegetable stew, bread, butter, watermelon, melon.. I'm sure I forgot something. We were set to a great start of the day!
Dogs (small and cute) are very friendly, even if they are barking they are just excited to see you. A lot of animals behind the house, you can see real village life right from your window.
Everything is really close here, great Oasis restaurant, road to David Garedji, horse riding.

What an enjoyment to stop in Udabno on the way to visit the Monastery of David Garedja. Time seems suspended in this isolated place surrounded by steppes stretching as far as the eye can see. Definitely worth experiencing. The host was welcoming and made our stay very pleasant, and the breakfast was very nice as well.
