Staff were super courteous & professional but friendly & welcoming.
Our family suite was spacious, comfortable & spotlessly clean.
We ate at the bistro rather than from the à la carte menu and the food was delicious. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable.
The breakfast room was airy and the quality & selection of the food was great. Again, we felt very well looked after by the staff.
Thank you!

Lovely hotel, great room and bed, very comfortable. Staff super friendly!
Unfortunately there was a lot of banging noises from I assume a machine above my room which went on late into the night and disrupted my sleep - it did eventually stop though! No one else I was travelling with heard it so it might have been contained to this one instance.

The Welcome Pack was really appreciated having arrived much later than expected. The apartment has every kitchen appliance as advertised which all worked well. Ironing facilities were good. Plush toilet rolls. The view of The Rock was remarkable.

The property was central to the harbour and the town. It was clean and very comfortable and the security into the building was 10/10. The host was brilliant and the communication was excellent. It was my husbands 40th and they went out there way to decorate the apartment and leave a bottle of wine and some chocolates

The Rock was brilliant! The apes were fun to watch.
The Rock was brilliant! The apes were fun to watch. Loads to see and do, including St Michael's cave which was stunning & included a light/music show. Very expensive to visit though - we took the cable car up and walked down via the (extensive) nature reserve (which could probably have been better sign posted). But it was a must-do attraction!
The rest of Gibraltar is a bit on the scruffy side.
The marina is a nice, modern area with bars & restaurants.
It was such a novelty to walk across the runway from the airport into the town and then to walk across the border into Spain the following day!

Honestly, we would not recommend it.
Honestly, we would not recommend it. Other than visiting The Rock, the city needs to be cleaned up. It is old and tired. There is often the strong smell of sewer in many areas of the city. There is very little green space, except for The Rock, as every inch is developed with a high rise apartment building.

Had a great time in Gibraltar, we visited in winter so didn't have the best weather, but we still managed to pack a lot in. Lots of history and nature. The locals are very friendly and helpful. We always felt very safe walking around, even late at night. If you enjoy walking (lots of hills), then you'll enjoy your stay, but if you can't walk too far the busses are cheap and regular, plus there's a variety of tours on offer. The food is excellent with lots of choice and a wide variety of cuisine.
It was interesting to see the red telephone boxes, post boxes and palm trees all together in the same place!

Sadly I had mixed weather so being out and about wasn't always fun. It's easy to get around on foot, but the buses also seem frequent and reliable though I didn't use. I love that you have to cross the runway to get from the airport. As it was out of season, the main attraction (ie The Rock ascent) was off the cards as the cable car was closed for a month for annual maintenance, which I knew before going. Also, as it was January, lots of places were closed for the season. Wide range of eateries in all price ranges to suit all tastes. Personally, if I returned, I'd go back in the spring maybe to experience more of the city.

Wow. So built up!
Wow. So built up! If ocean/water time is your expectation forget that. Most of the time it’s claustrophobic between apartments & hotels. Spend your time in Spain where they respect the waterfront.
BUT. The views from the Nature Reserve are spectacular. Try not to go in a minivan.. e-bike was great but not entirely easy. Be sure to go see the UNESCO Neanderthal site.

Gibraltar is main street of duty free shops mostly of Jeweller, Perfume, alcohol and Tobacco and Electronic shops. The location is like going back in time with good sense of colonial history, the place has mix of rich history and trading spot from multicultures whom have settled in the thriving town. To walk across a live runway and experience the airport when only two flights are ready to go gives one the experience of flying economy class, from what felt like private airport. Ratio of size to passengers meant it was not busy by comparison to nearby Malaga airport

Superb top floor apartment, close proximity to the airport, walking distance. Beautiful views of the airport and an interesting cemetery, too.
The apartment was clean and all facilities for a comfortable stay.
Convience store close by and a 20-30 minute walk to the main town and marina.
Booked this apartment for my daughter and partner as we were staying in Gibraltar, with a perfect location close to the beach and the rock. Easy check-in and good communication from host.
A centrally located hotel in the heart of main street. With everything you need to have a pleasant stay. This hotel offers, comfy beds, cable TV and a pool with bar. There are a variety of rooms to suit travellers needs, couple, famlies, individuals. Wondeful welcoming staff, and 24hr reception. I love the traditional Gibraltar ambience it offers, as Gibraltar becomes more modern, this feels more homely and keeps me coming back year after year!
Easy access to the airport, the main town and eastern side of Gibraltar - perfect for exploring the whole country. We were on the 19th floor with excellent views of the runway and into Spain. Shower was excellent and bed was comfy. Staff were available by Whatsapp to answer questions and were friendly whenever we met them in person. Views of the morning sunrise are incredible from the balcony of the apartment we had.
first time in the Elliot hotel was very good really great hotel very clean and modern very helpful friendly staff the room was lovely modern bed very comfortable rooftop terrace with pool and loungers and table and chairs with good views of the city it was situated in the middle of town so easy to walk everywhere definitely be satiating here again on next visit
Everything is amazing! There is no better place to stay in Gibraltar. This house is truly exceptional in terms of everything: its location, interior design, comfort, cleanliness and wonderful attitude and kindness of the owner. You can sleep and live with the sound of the waves. It is a dream place.
