The flat was very spacious with lovely sea views from the kitchen and living space. Great location, close to all the restaurants and bars in town but also just a few minutes walk from a nice beach. Katerina also provided us with some good recommendations for local restaurants..it was also very convenient for the starting points for some of the andros hiking trails which we highly recommend 😀
Boasting a seasonal outdoor pool, Vassiliki Studios is only 50 metres from the sandy Neimporio Beach. It features self-catering accommodation with Aegean Sea and Andros Town views from their balcony.

Nice simple decor. Close to the center. Great view.
Visited Andros during Christmas holidays. There were only a few people around. We spent time walking some of the well preserved trails. Had lunch at 'souvlakia Gavriou` in Gavrio, `Bellitsa' in Batsi and at "`Kalogridis fresh fish" in Ormos Korthiou. Needless to say all of them were perfect. Also loved Zairis kalsounia in Mesaria, Andros.

We are older people therefore not quite as able as a lot of visitors. There are very many steps to and from beaches.
In our opinion there were no decent restaurants. It’s like they cater for day trippers who won’t be returning.
Batsi seemed to have better food.
Gavrio was full of rude shopkeepers!?
Andros ktel buses were really good but didn’t go to many places. Ferries seem to have become chaotic and more overcrowded even in low season. Andros is our least liked island in 50 years of visiting Greece

Beautiful town but too small, the amenities and shops were all in one street. It’s a very safe place, especially if you go with children but there isn’t much to do. Unless you just want to unwind or go hiking I wouldn’t go to this island.

It is close , you can get there with the fast ferry from Rafina in just over an hour. Teh island ahs a big tradition in shipping an dthe ship owners have kept Chora in a charming state. You have batsi if you want some more action but otherwise the small villages are nice an dfar from the extremely busy islands like Paros, Mykonos etc. Prices were high but nothing insane. It gets crouded too in mid August. Although an aegean island it has lots of waters and at least 2 hiking destinations with waterfall etc. Some monasteries to visit. Before you leave dont miss buying a box of amygdalota (almond sweets covered in powder sugar , local delicacy). Some of the beaches are hard to access but offer an amazing view.

We liked Sariza Hotel and mostly the friendly staff who always did their best for us to be comfortable. We got upgraded to sea view and also changed room for us when we found that one of the mattresses was not as comfortable. Apart from that we were also very impressed by the level of cleanliness. We recommend this hotel !
- Beautiful hotel with a lovely view
- Very big and comfortable room, very nicely decorated
- Exceptional service, they did everything for us to have an amazing stay
- A lot of little attentions (complimentary water, delicious sweet treats every day, they offered us beautiful hats and a beach bag,…)
- Good location
Excellent hotel and staff. We go every year. The location is very nice. Hotel is clean and it's nice to see same staff every year. The breakfast is amazing.
