Breakfast buffet with some local specialties, variety with breads, eggs, cereal, yogurt, juice, fruit, coffee, tea. Elevator for staff to use to take luggage to upper floor.

Salvia hotel was a fantastic stay! The suites are large and equipped well, the views from the hotel are stunning. The location is good especially if you don’t like to be in the middle of town. The real surprise was the breakfast, homemade pastries and good coffee. Above all the team was lovely and kind, providing best hospitality experience.

Of the many wonderful properties we stayed at during our visit to the Peloponnese, this was the best. The room was outstanding, as was the staff. The entire property was beautiful. The breakfast had a great selection of food. I can't say enough good things about Armantanis Luxury Suites.

    I really enjoyed my stay there—very nice location with a fantastic view. Also, the staff and owners were very polite. The Jacuzzi is an excellent addition to the room where you can relax in the afternoons and enjoy the view. Finally, the breakfast was delicious.

    Romantic little town with cobble stones pathways and a relaxed vibe - food was authentic and everything was close by which made walking easy with 2 children. The beaches in the near area are also very stunning Gerolimenas as has great fish tavern right on the beach. Our fa our ire meal was at mavromichaikiko roof top with stunning views I’d the sunset. Our highlight was Fonda’s beach and having fins with the kids through the caves and fantastic snorkelling at alypa beach .

    Areopolis is quaint and has an active night life (bars, coffee shops). The bar AULA was excellent with nice drinks and music. We did not eat well in Areopolis (Mavromichaleiko served us uncooked cheese pie and had very poor service), but Kourmas at Limeni right on the sea (just 5km away ) is an absolute MUST. Also a drive to Stoupa, Agios Nikolaos and Kalogria Beach (30-40mins drive) is an excellent day trip. We ate at Agios Nikolaos at Elli's taverna which was EXCELLENT. Kalogria beach is SUPERB and Kalogria restaurant run by Christos is EXCELLENT, right ON the beach.

    It is such a cute lively town - the stony buildings, small taverns and cafes. It is located in Mani, my favourite part of Greece. We travelled with car, and in September it was easy to find parking places. We also visited Limani, a beach/village 10 min drive under. The sea was great, you can even spot turtles there! We took some pasteries from the local bakery near the town's main church! Did not regret it 🙂.

    A romantic town, I preferred it to every other small towns...

    A romantic town, I preferred it to every other small towns in the region including others to the north and south. While others were closer to the water, they didn't have the charm. Most had the main road running through the middle, while Areopoli had the road run on the northern edge, which allowed the streets to be shut down at night (possibly just the weekends?) For pedestrians only and turned into a lively romantic location with many restaurants and shops. There is a large public parking square that you can leave your car near the Petrounis hotel. And if you'd like to swim, Limeni village, the most picturesque village I've ever seen is down the hill, a 4 minute drive away, which has a nice swimming area. (Stay in Areopoli though as Limeni is basically made up of a few stone houses and sparse restaurants.)

    A magical place! Very atmospheric, different, typical! Charming cafes and shops. Very typical taverns, cozy and reasonable prices. Old oven for delicious bread and snacks! We had dinner at Palaiopolis Tavern. The service was fast. It was tasty ! Aeropoli is a very historic and beautiful town! You must visit it! Give it enough time!

    Very happy with areopolis little Greek village but with plenty of nice bars and tavernas visited early December but still had no problem we found great bars within minutes of guest house plus a fantastic restaurant

    We loved our stay at Petrounis hotel. It is a beautiful hotel in the centre of Areopolis but still very quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was very comfortable with everything you need. The highlight of our stay was our meeting with the owner, Petrounis. He was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Our trip in the Mani will stay forever associated with Petrounis and his hospitality.

    It is well positioned for Neo Oitylo, Limeni and Areopolis. The rooms are large and well decorated. The open plan living area is great. The outside areas are also well thought out and there is ample opportunity to enjoy a barbecue or just to chill with a drink and meze outside in the evening.

    The rooms are about a 3 minute walk to the centre of Areopolis, giving an excellent location. Also we had the chance to do check in about 40’ earlier which was very convenient. The staff was answering all the phone calls.
