Pharae Palace is located on the famous Kalamata beachfront and just few minutes away from the shopping districts and the port of Kalamata.

Breakfast was very good. Service could have been friendlier and less formal, but it was OK service, not outstanding, nor attentive. Had to seek attention of staff for service.

The Elysian Luxury Hotel and Spa in Kalamata, Greece, was an amazing stay for us! We thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Eve dinner, which offered excellent choices and was very tasty. The hotel had a cozy atmosphere with beautiful holiday decorations. The staff were exceptionally polite, and the Spa services were outstanding. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and festive experience!

    The personnel is so friendly, they adapted the cleanliness to our regime and didn't disturb us while our presence in the room. And at the end the hotel personnel printed our boarding passes out. Highly recommend the hotel

    I would recommend staying around Ancient Messene rather than Kalamata and taking a day trip into Kalamata to walk around the old town and see a few of the museums. The waterfront at Kalamata is disappointing. Spending time in the old town rather the waterfront would be better time spent.

    I love Kalamata for its beautiful, extremely long beach and great shopping! The accommodation is extremely expensive, even in Winter, there is a lot of exploitation of tourists…. This is the most disappointing thing.

    It was a nice location with a nearby beach. Shops nearby as well as restaurants. Mostly Greek restaurants. There were two other restaurants one Italian restaurant and one Chinese restaurant. If you want to make excursions its better to have a rental car

    Large city. Lots of room on the beach. Seawalk was very long. Excellent views and many places to reach the beach. Free parking on the street. One strip along the shore had lots of hotels and beach umbrellas were available. Very friendly, patient and helpful store owners and clerks. Watch out for one way streets. Google worked well for finding our way. Enjoyed walking along the marina. Took an olive oil tasting tour -highly recommend one of the many local villages.

    The airport is small, and very close to lots of lovely places to stay, Kalamata itself has a lovely shopping area and a long beach promenade with masses of good restaurants. This is a stunning area with beautiful sea and mountain views with lots to see and do. A car is a must to explore the countryside

    Kalamata is a welcoming city offering plenty to do and to see. The old town, the coast and the main square are some of the paces to be. Boasting a big number of quality restaurants, tavernas and coffee shops. What makes Kalamata idea is the proximity by car to the nearby attractions such as Kardamyli, Stoypa, Limeni, Areopoli, Kalogria Beach, Foneas Beach, Voidokilia Beach, Polilimnio Water falls, Kato & Ano Verga (Kastraki), Methoni, Navarino and many more places to visit. It is ideal for long or short stays. We would also recommend you to try paragliding as it is a very exciting activity and a great way to enjoy the whole view of Kalamata. Definitely recommend visiting Kalamata and Peloponnese.

    We are Greek Australians sndctravrl to Greece regularly. The Place was clean, modern in a great location and was one of the best apartments we have stayed in. The hosts were fantastic. Had a small self inflicted issue with the washing machine and the hosts came out the same day and were able to fix the issue. They were great. Thanks for having us. Next time we are in Kalamata will definitely book the same apartment if it is available.

    The hotel is centrally located. I walked a few minutes to the beach, and a few minutes to the centre of Kalamata. The staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet had a full variety of different egg dishes, breads, cereals, and cakes. Coffee, tea juices and jams. Also dates, figs, and other candy fruits. There was a lot of sliced cheese, ham and other similar products. I enjoyed the time there. Thank you

    Breakfast was one of the best we had in Greece with a good variety of food. Rooms were spotless clean and really comfortable. Bathroom was very nice with a modern look. Hotel has a small private parking nearby which gets full if you arrive late. It is close to many restaurants and shops. Staff were very kind.

    Very closed to the harbour of Kalamata with all the restaurands and tavernas around and about 20 minutes walk from the town.Good beds and pillows soft towels. Convinient free parking outsite the hotel very kind helpful and polite staff.Very pleased to get on demand a kettle in the room for my afternoon tee.
